Looking for beginner guides/resources

Heya! I've been trying to find guides/resources for making my own utau voicebank but I have no idea where to look! I got the basics of making Utau covers, and now I wanna try making my own voicebank.

(note: I believe I understand most of the process, but for some reason my voicebanks sound very odd in OpenUTAU, but normal in the regular utau)
