I think I should update this and say that this was probably released because the most recent Windows 10 broke the old versions of MMD. (For sure 2.31 and 2.26.)

So probably no new features have been introduced. :(

Hey, at least people who had broken MMD have it fixed now! :) It's nice to know they stay on top of keeping it working.
