As I wrote in a profile message, Vocaloid7 has Windows 11 in the system requirements because Windows 10 is not supported anymore by Microsoft (since October 2025), so any new software and games released from this year are listed as supported only on Windows 11. That doesn't mean Vocaloid7 won't work on Windows 10, I'm 99% sure it will work with no issues, since Win10 and Win11 have same base code for compatibility.She sounds really good ngl, if only vocaloid 7 wasn't w11.
For example, any new games released this year, that have win11 in the system requirements, work perfect on win10.
One thing I'm curious about is if the V6 standard banks such as Shion, Sakura, Haruka, Yukito etc will receive V7 updates.
Because at least, we know that Asa, which is the vb bundled with V6, is getting a V7 upgrade.
Considering that the V6 standard banks are considered as bundled voices for most people who bought V6 on launch and who bought it standalone from the vocaloid website, it could make sense that these vbs, being native yamaha vbs they own the models of could way more easily benefit from a V7 update than third party voicebanks.

MEIKO and KAITO V7? Ok Yamaha? Please???? They’re so iconic they’ve been neglected since v3 I need producers to use them again…
Kaito V7 would be much appreciated, because while I like his V3 it is evidently very difficult to make sound realistic or human. That's not to say it's impossible, just that it's difficult. As much as I love Meiko, her V3 actually isn't that bad, especially with the addition of XSY. Sure she's a bit fuzzy, but that's standard for most voicebanks of that generation and can apparently be removed with good mixing (I'm bad at mixing).
i just think if they got new voicebanks more producers would use them even if it was just for a short while to test them out. ive never really been crazy about kaito–he’s one of the two vocal synths who’s voice I actually dislike–but I’d love to hear him sound more human maybe it could fix him for me! And MEIKO is just a queen and deserves a new voicebank lol i hear she’s hard to make sound good with v3
To be fair there is going to be a boom of KAITO songs since lots of people have suddenly been buying KAITO in japan, to the point he became out of stock for a while. as there's been a trend around KAITO. due to an artist trying to claim the name for themselves.
I think KAITO *can* sound good, he's just more difficult to use well. Many of the most known KAITO songs first of all tend to rely on his VOCALOID1 voice,and obviously VOCALOID1 is pretty outdated by today's standards, his VOCALOID3 voice sounds way smoother and cleaner overall. But also, a lot of people end up using him like he's Miku and use him in higher ranges which makes him sound like Kermit.
KAITO sounds way better when used in the appropriate lower ranges
