ok! so recently I've made some vocaloid head cannons, and so I decided why not make a game? I want to know your head cannons!

How to play!
all you've got to do is a little something that goes like this;
(this is an actual head cannon I have)

KAITO, Miku, and Gakupo are siblings, Gakupo being eldest, Miku being youngest! (go into detail if you'd like! give your opinion! all opinions are valid!)
MEIKO and Luka are sisters! (Luka is younger)
Oliver is Big al and sweet Ann's kid :)

or if you're into ACTUAL romantic relationships then probably you'd say something like;
(again, this is another head cannon of mine)
KAITO and MEIKO are married.
Big Al and Sweet Ann are also married
Gumi and gakupo are in a relationship

but go wild with this! seriously I want to hear your head cannons! and don't forget that all opinions are valid! >:)

Gonna need to dispute Gackupo being in a relationship: that dude gets shot down constantly.

Miriam and Sachiko are the cool lesbian aunts that everyone likes.
VY1 and VY2 are actually a sentient fan and sword, respectively.

Rin and Miku are girlfriends.

Leon and Lola are married.

Personality:
Kaito is really book smart, but he is kinda clueless with people.
Meiko is the kind of woman that could kick your butt at almost anything.
Luka is calm and kind, but has about 25 ex-girlfriends.
Rin and Len are chaotic forces of nature and constantly fight, but if someone hurts the other one there will be no mercy.
Big Al is a kind father, but can occasionally be EXTREMELY chaotic.
Miriam is the calm aunt with like 7 cats, shared with Mew.

I always have the feeling Meiko and Kaito are in a relationship (since junior high school), but not married yet. They are both in their 25s, and while Kaito keeps working as an office employee, Meiko decided to quit her job (same company) to focus on taking care of their apartment and always prepare good meals for Kaito (lunch boxes for work and dinner when he comes back from work).
Gumi is cousin of Miku and they support each other.
Neru and Teto are childhood friend of Miku.
Rin and Len are twins and always stay together holding their hands (I felt so happy seeing their official NT artworks), they also enjoy doing shopping together at the mall and eat their favorite crepes on a bench.
Luka and Miku are in love

There's gonna be a lot to unpack in this thread, I think and I don't know if I'll be able to fight every battle lol. But I thought consensus had VY1 as a sword? It's your head-cannon of course, twin swords is also cool (but not practical, but this isn't the place). And I will try to convince anyone against KaiMei! Meiko is single, and I'm dying on that hill.

I imagine them meeting at a bar (Meiko is there frequently, but for Kiyoteru, this was just a one-time thing; he was stressed from work), and her being overly flirty, he rejects her advances, so she just kind of gives up. But then she hears he has a daughter and asks to meet her, and he agrees. Turns out that she is a great mother figure, and he slowly starts to fall for her.

i don't have many thoughts about relationships except for gakupo and iroha their voices go together sooo well, and they have this technological theme within a very narrow niche (samurai and hello kitty) going on. i wish i had a better idea of their dynamic but i like their vibe a lot

their monthly shopping list keeps the hair products industry alive

It exists! Not a very popular one though - I'd say Kiyoteru's most popular het ship is with Lily? Probably for similar reasons as Meiko, but Meiko always had some more obvious popular ships. Still, I've definitely seen it before!

Preamble I am an American and these will all be American cities; and I deem Miku to international to place so she will not be appearing.

Sweet Ann is from Knoxville

Luka is from Minneapolis

Otomachi Una is from Pensacola

Kagamines are from Tampa

Gumi is from San Francisco

Meiko is from Chicago

Kaito is form Boulder (he's hard to place for me, subject to change)

Adachi Rei is from Silicon Valley (ha!)

VFlower is from Omaha

Ruby, Yohioloid, and YV2 are from ole New York

uuuu i thought i responded to this but apparently i didnt. what a tragedy...

without going too in depth for the sake of my own time;

KAITO + MEIKO always have this strong ride or die connection. This differs heavily depending on what context i'm portraying them as or when in my life i was portraying them, but now its comparable to platonic childhood friends who bicker warmly like an old married couple arguing over if more trumpet in the song they're listening to would really improve it in the home they built and live in together, but aren't romantically attracted to eachother to the slightest.

Miku + Teto + Neru in my most recent au were all classmates in 2007. Miku was enrolled in highschool despite being a time-traveling android because if she wasn't Meiko was probably going to get arrested for having what she lied was a distant cousin from estranged, off the grid family members living with her not in school. since they could not convince most anyone else that miku is actually from the year 2397. Teto and Neru make sence as Miku's highschool classmates since they've been commonly associated with eachother in the modern day despite not canonically being associated with eachother in a group setting.

I often have KAITO and Kiyoteru as cousins with similar traits that hung out a lot together growing up. It doesn't make a whole lot of sence, considering Kiyoteru's ICE MOUNTAIN book info claims he's adopted and doesn't recall much prior to being adopted (if memory serves correctly). and I like to work off of that, so they'd either not have similar biological traits if KAITO were related to Kiyoteru's adoptee, or they wouldn't know they were cousins in the first place if related to Kiyoteru's biological parents. but i've had that hc for so long it feels like if i let it go a part of me would be let go with it

I also have been playing with KAITO having a ton of brothers based on some of the Shion derivatives in my most recent au (though renamed because having a pair of 6 brothers all named __-AITO is deeply unserious to me).

I don't have many engloid headcanons. I agree with the common Power FX family headcanons (Big Al + Sweet Ann being middle aged and married and Hio, Ruby and Oliver being their children), and I think the idea of Tonio + Prima treating Sonika like their younger sibling despite the two of them not even knowing eachother prior to being hired is really really cute too.

I also am set in my ways and never saw the Kagamine's as anything but twins in my headcanons. In my mentioned most recent au, Len was designed because the scientists from the future needed to show 3 Vocal Synths to continue to get funding for their designed purpose, being serving robots for the miniscule upper class after years of wars and fammine wiped out most any sort of middle class and a lot of the population (despite the scientists wanting to make musical androids to save music for another future). so they made len based on rin's general blueprint because luka was taking a while to design (hence why he's so similar to rin)

... ended up yapping anyways. whoops.
