Awkward? Like lyrics don't fit well or like pronunciation issues?

She's too low as well? Yeesh. That's probably my bad for sure. I used a compressor in Studio One & adjusted her vocals to be soft & breathy in Piapro Studio. Not really a good combo, huh?

In your opinion, what is considered a good music/vocal balance?

Oh dude, I love the instrumentals as well. I picked it up from a guy named Steven Mon on the Vocaloid/UTAU FB group under his Creative Commons. Apparently, he does punk music & the like.
Also, btw, I'm not trying to sound like a jerk. I do really want to know what's up with it so I can do better on it.

(I do hear some parts that get a little too soft on certain parts or have a fuller sound. . . Hm.)

No, I think that I get what you're trying to say. I think that I do hear it in the "Ah, was there no other way?" line. Like the "ah" came in too late or so.
