Kyaami is a popular cover maker on YouTube whose videos often get millions of views. She's made a couple originals and sometimes does tuning for other people's songs.
While covers could be seen as "piggybacking off other people's success" it's sort of...rare to see vocalsynth cover artists that popular and well known. Sure it might get traction on YouTube but that's not saying a lot. Kyaami is an outlier. Many people don't pay attention to tuners either, how many know that Bibi does tuning for *Luna and Amime Kirin does it for hachiya nanashi/kuriyama yuri? But most of the vocal synth channels I follow are very small, so that's coloring my perception. Still it sort of hurts to see people who make amazing work get ignored, even if it's derivative

The other issue I feel like cover artists run into is constantly being compared Kyaami... it's not fair. I love Kyaami, but I feel like people act like she's the only tuning goddess, but she's not. She's very talented, but there are other people who are just as talented.
(There's one cover artist I'm a fan of and people constantly compare them to Kyaami, and it's a little annoying (to both me and them), tbh. ^^")

Ah sorry. i know as cillia, I don't know much about her.
After i do some search, in my perspective.
She is very talented indeed. To be fair, she do quite a hard work to get into this spot and also in that time, If i remember correct that vocaloid still very propular back in 2012-2014 and she very active in that time frame and gaining popularity, so i'm not surprise here. but also a female and native english speaker.
