I would say go for it unless the price skyrockets! If she's used it won't get nearly as expensive as an unused one, but also since she's discontinued, people might hop on it. Those types of things tend to get a bidding war in the last 5 minutes, so keep an eye out, and happy hunting! :0

There's always a bit of anxiety when it comes to second hand Vocaloids. I'm confident my Rin/Len and Flower will be usable since both have either said "it's usable" or else shown a picture of the Deactivator Tool, followed by showing their active Vocaloids sans the one they were selling, but my Luka? Ehh the auction said "we don't have the environment to test this" so who knows! Hopefully if it doesn't work I can reset her serial through Crypton ^^;;

With 201 positive and 0 negative, I'd guess the seller is ok. Maybe check to see if they have other Vocaloids for sale/if any of their reviews mention having bought Vocaloids from them?

You could also ask- most decent sellers will tell you what they know about registration/activation

They have all of Gakupo's V4 voicebanks on sale and they're unopened. VY1's description says that it has been deactivated. There are 0 bids on both listings and VY1 has been posted since December 28th. Gakupo was posted earlier today. Right now they're both going for ~$95 each (as the buyout price). I checked a few of the reviews and it seems like they mostly sell iZotope and Vocaloid stuff. They've sold some copies of Gakupo, Vflower, and Gumi in the past and all of the reviewers seem happy.

I requested to buy VY1 through Otaku Republic! Now I'm just waiting for them to respond. I hope no one grabs VY1 in the meantime.
