cevio AI is well..AI based synth and instead of directly taking recorded samples and turning them into a vb it instead examines singing samples of the vp of their choice and creates vb from it, the big difference in terms of how they function is that theres often very little editing involved on the producers end as AI based synths do large chunk of the work for you. Cevio AI works on that system...in temrs of how much power Cevio AI will give us in editing the vb we dont know ( also Neutrino is an example of such synth ).

Cevio Pro is more traditional, sample-based and that'll be more traditional of an update in terms of the previous Cevio engine.

Thank you patuk It seems odd to have two successors to CeVIO, but maybe they have a reason. Do we have any news on Pro? I feel like I have only heard news about AI.

Id say they both fill in different niches! AI being realistic and auto-tuned out of the box which many producers look for vs sample based which isnt as realistic out of the box but thats again something some producers might want but also many cover artists like me just enjoy being more involved in the editing process which sample based synths offer:o and I don't know!D: apologies!

That is a good way of putting it. It is like how you can either use Neutrino, or use it's editor. I enjoy the editing process quite a bit, so I think I might prefer Pro. No worries! I searched a bit, even on the CeVIO wiki, and it seems like they have not released any news about Pro for a long time now, only news about AI. I suppose they are focusing on AI right now, and once they are finished with it, will start telling us about Pro?

I suppose AI synths in general are more trendy of the two rn
