It's interesting how AHS has been helping a bunch of companies port VBs to SynthV! But it does make you wonder if they'll ever port their own VBs to SynthV... Miki, Kiyo and Yuki SynthVs when?
It's also interesting to hear the differences between V6 and SynthV Gumi despite using the exact same...
Speak of the devil from the main SynthV thread, she's getting a Vivid bank! Disappointed there's no port of her Vocaloid Power bank, unless her default voice is meant to be naturally powerful.
SynthV Gumi sounds like what might have happened if she had a Vivid append on Vocaloid, and I do mean that in a good way. It might not be quite as powerful as her Vocaloid VBs, but it does sound a lot brighter. Gumi translates really well to the SynthV engine.
It also makes you wonder if...
Overtuning should definitely become a fandom term, because that's what concretely explains the issue. Don't get me wrong, I love some good realistic tuning (even with Miku), but producers need to remember that human voices naturally don't sound like vocal synths when parameters are pushed to...
Got a number of similar, yet related opinions/complaints this time:
1. I'm pretty sure I complained a while ago about producers tuning Miku way too high in recent years, to the point that she sounds like the chipmunk people who hate Miku say she is. A related issue I've just started to notice...
There could also be the concern that Kafu SynthV's quality is lower than her CeVIO, so they're avoiding demos because they know fans will complain... Which doesn't make any sense considering she's basically Kamitsubaki's mascot girl, and like I said, a delay would be far more preferable to a...
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Kafu SynthV was delayed. We're coming up to two months away from release, and there's still no demos, which is getting a bit bizarre.
SynthV has had more character driven/unrealistic banks recently, so I'd be surprised if Dreamtonics tried to rope...
In all fairness, Solaria and Asterian have had Spanish dictionaries long before it was officially supported in SynthV. (Speaking of the dictionaries, according to Eclipsed Sounds' website, the Japanese-to-Spanish dictionaries will be discontinued once Spanish support is rolled out to all SynthV...
I've said before that I've never been a fan of CeVIO's engine noise, so just hearing Popy's samples in the SynthV engine is already a massive improvement. I do agree that the song was a bit too loud and overly layered for a first demo song, but it does slap.
