I honestly think the accent is adorable! I knew Maki wasn't going to be aimed at Westerners anyway, but I still liked what I heard in those demos, that one bizarre sentence aside. It's accented, but not really difficult to understand.
Any reupload channels on YT that still exist still don't always credit producers, which is beyond frustrating not only because of the moral/ethical issues with unofficial uploads to begin with (unless the producer or record company places ads in the video, I guess), but also because if the song...
I'm a native English speaker (so my language has long been covered), but I've been holding out for German and Russian for years. (Yes, I know Maghni AI is covering both languages, but nearly everyone is skeptical of Maghni, sooo...)
I've filled it out too - the questions were really thoughtful! (In fact, I'm kinda wondering if we should have a separate thread here about how fans perceive Vocaloid and other synths in terms of them as instruments, mascots or virtual singers).
A bilingual Japanese and English power bank would be cool for SynthV! I don't think we've had any power banks for it yet - it's mainly been light or soft female voices so far.
I'm just glad such an experimental voice will now be a commercial thing. I'm looking forward to hearing the final voice - hopefully, it won't be as screechy as it is in UTAU.
