If you give us more info about the song and the video, we might be able to narrow it down further. Saying it was titled 'Yandere' doesn't give me a lot to go on, since so many Vocaloid songs have that theme, let alone Miku songs.
I'm gonna concur with some and say I don't like Flower Talk's shoes because they look like Gumi V4's ugly kicks. I feel like the design would have been better with sneakers or something.
Also, the Meikas are supposed to be 11?! Wtf.
Update time - finally picked up German! Though right now it's still at what I like to call "phrase book" German. I can't get the hang of the grammar at all aside from simple sentences. ^^;
I can sort of give a demonstration of how far I am into the language, though I'm still relying on personal...
I feel that Vocaloid is dying, but other synths are rising to try and take its place (including Piapro Studio. You do have to wonder if/when the Cryptonloids permanently move away from Vocaloid, the Vocaloid fandom will kinda die with it, because Miku has always been the cash cow of the...
When I first saw his design, I thought he was going to be a "shota" Voiceroid (like, if Len got a talking Vocaloid bank), but I was really suprised to hear his deep tone. But at the same time, the voice is still whispery enough to match the design in my opinion. Now I just wish he was a...
On the topic of PD models, I don't like how much "shinier" the models have become over the years. I prefer the textures on the old PSP games, which weren't in HD at all but ended up in hindsight with nicer (dare I say, a bit more "cartoony"?) textures. I dunno, something about the excessive...
I enjoyed Kanon 2006, but I found the story slow to kick off at first. I haven't seen Kanon 2004, so I can't say anything about it in comparison, but I do have it listed on my growing 'anime to watch' list.
On the whole, I do think Clannad (including After Story) was the better anime adaptation...
Cowboy Bebop is a brave mention, considering in some anime circles, it's considered heresy to talk bad about it (mainly because of how legendary the English dub is.) I personally haven't seen it, so I can't put my own judgement on it.
I read one volume of Detective Conan (under the Case Closed...
I had a thread a bit similar to this back when VO was still alive, but I didn't think to recreate it on here until now. Plus the Anime & Manga subforum is pretty dead, so I thought I'd try to revive it.
I've spoilered the stuff I've dropped, since I got a bit concerned my lists might get too...
My main issue with Zola's boxart was that the original designs for the guys were really sketchy (as in, they looked like concept art sketches, not final art), which was disappointing considering that the artist was Yoshitaka Amano, who is most famous for being the character artist for Final...
There was Megpoid: The Music on PSP (which just featured Gumi), but it didn't kick off a franchise similar to Project DIVA or anything. It would have been cool if it continued and it slowly turned into a Internetloid game in general, like Project DIVA did.
Shocking news: a crappy music award might be rigged!
I've never taken the Grammys or any other music award seriously. It's pretty obvious they favour certain artists once they start getting big by playing the music industry game.
Like Leon, Lola, Prima, the VYs, etc.? From what I understand about musicians who aren't into anime or Japanese culture, they tend not to care a whole lot about boxart (aside from it being appealing from a professional standpoint).
I think the Vocaloid program in general needs to sit at a...
I think Vocaloid's stigma is that 1.) It's too associated with anime and wider otaku culture (because of Miku and co.) to appeal outside of the Western anime fandom, and 2.) Vocal synths in general are still a niche instrument among (non-anime fan) musicians, so they're not likely to pick up...
As a veteran/refugee of VO, there was so much drama on that board that they could have been referring to anything, and chances are I could remember the gist of it.
I don't care for "reality" TV in general because anyone with critical thinking skills can deduce they're fake as hell. They're basically a different kind of soap opera now, and if I wanted to watch a soap, I'd watch Coronation Street or Eastenders in the UK.
Plus, there's also the obvious...
I didn't mind the Coachella song, but it's true that the genre is very much a "safe" choice for the Coachella crowd. I also wished Miku's voice had more power to it in the track, because she sounds quite soft and unintelligible in places (but I do know Miku English has always had that problem)...
I was originally gonna say teal, but the standard interpretation of teal as a shade in the west is much darker than Miku's hair colour. So perhaps it's more of a "light teal" or cyan?
