初音ミク Magical Mirai 2025

I'm back!!! (uh oh lol)
You know what's coming...
I will try and make this as short as possible for your sake hehe •w•
______________________________________________________________________________________

Turns out I can't attend Magical Mirai 2027, due to preparations for my brother's test close to that date! I was a bit disappointed since the event is significant, but I can always go to Magical Mirai 20th anniversary after attending one before that, so idm waiting lol ^-^''

I have options to go to Magical Mirai 2026, but I think it would be better to wait since I am a new fan after all. So I may consider going to mm 28. >.<

I'd like to ask the differences between mm anniversaries and normal mm considering setlists, exhibition, merch, etc.
Are the anniversaries 'better' than the normal ones? (In your opinion, if the answer is debatable)
____________________________________________________________________________________
As of mm 24, there were *alot* of setlist 'surprises', I should put it. By that, I intend to mean that songs made a debut after not being played for ages, such as Letter Song and When First Love Ends (I cry every time I listen to that song for thirty mins straight lol). Also, all the vocaloids sung with eachother for hand in hand.
Would these surprises still carry on in future mms? And if so, the anniversaries would include more of these, would they? And if I want to attend in 28, or 29, etc, would they run out of ideas? (I doubt it but I want to make sure hehe)
I know you wouldn't really be able to answer this, but you are like really informative when it comes to mm, so I'm surprised you're not a staff member lol. So I'd like to have predictions and thoughts on this please! <3

mm 24 really upped their game, so I'm pretty sure mm 25 and future mms would be just as good, or even better!
__________________________________________________________________________________
And do you think I'd survive waiting 3 years to finally see Miku??? Or should I just go to mm 26? Or would it be a more emotional/memorable experience to go to the mm 20th anniversary?? (Asking for advice lol) ^u^
_________________________________________________________________________________
Also, I live in Britain, as you know, and mm Tokyo performance happens the weekend closest to 31st August (Miku's bday). I'm pretty sure the system in England is that school re-opens on the first weekday to the 1st if September (or some formula like that). Id like to attend the Tokyo performance (s), so should I really be going to mm Tokyo? Or should I head to Osaka/3rd location (if there is one)? Or should I head to all three locations?

I'm really risking it for Miku here hehe ^°^
______________________________________________________________________________________
Question: Most important thing about mm? Setlists, exhibitions, merch, character design, etc?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I did say I'd try to make it as short as possible, but...oops •~• ''

Again, sorry for typo mistakes/errors if there are any, I'll clarify if you don't understand anything ^-^
Thank you! x

welcome back, and thank you! :len_smile_lili:
(and yes, I knew what was coming hehehe:ryuuto_lili:)
so.. first of all, I'm sorry that probably you won't be able to attend Magical Mirai 2027, but don't worry because because every event is unique, so no matter what event you'll attend in the future, you'll surely enjoy, enjoy a lot ^-^
on a positive side of things, going on 26 or 28 might mean a bit better chances (for the lottery tickets), since I guess for 27 there will be much more demand for lottery tickets.
And.. there is no "better" event in my opinion. Because there are always so many differences between one event and the other, even the change of location (and of some setlist songs) make always the event so different. Every year there are always good surprises, don't worry for that ^-^
There are some differences in terms of setlist when it comes to anniversaries in general: usually the setlist is more about the theme songs of the previous years. I really, really, really loved Snow Miku 2019 concert (10th Anniversary) and Magical Mirai 10th Anniversary concerts because there were all the theme songs one after the others, and it was incredible<3
also the exhibition has some differences: during an anniversary: they usually show the previous designs, because it's a celebration of all those years ^-^
and then, every other Magical Mirai has always those good surprises, you can check this page to see how different are the songs every year:
(you'll see that also the first years of Magical Mirai had so great surprises:yuki_lili:)

ohh I'm surely not objective person to answer that hehe but let's say that: if you can attend next year, try to attend it, don't wait more years. But if you can't, that's really ok, because there will be always other events to enjoy ^-^ and for which location to attend, I totally understand about that, and in fact they make different locations at different times so you have more choices. As for 2026, I checked the calendar, maybe the Tokyo event will be during the first weekend of september? (it happened before) in that case, it might be better for you to attend for example Osaka (or another location if there will be) earlier in August, just because you'll enjoy more knowing that you have free days and you don't have to hurry for anything ^^ but again, don't worry because any event you'll attend is going to be so good, always! ^-^
and the most important thing is.. to enjoy it. Enjoy it to the fullest, having a great time and collect important memories, that's the most important thing. And you're going to have such good memories from the concert, from the exhibition, meet new fans, feel the good atmosphere and even from small details and small things happening here and there:miku_ani_lili::luka_lili::meiko_ani_lili::kaito_smile_lili::len_smile_lili::rin_smile_lIlI:
here is one good video about Magical Mirai 10th exhibition in Osaka ^^
(you can also search for other years as well, you'll find many many video about the exhibitions, so you can see how they are)(✿◡‿◡)

the official channel has videos for every year too, for example(❁´◡`❁)

Hehehehehe >•<

Honestly I think for me it would be better to not go to mm 27 anyway, since I am a very new Miku fan so it just wouldn't be for me lol
I feel so happy for you enjoying your Snow Miku experience! :seeu_lili: I also think my friend's older brother attended that ^-^

I really have no idea if I will know all the songs that appear in mm if I go next year, which you recommended, so ima ask you since you're an expert: how long would it take for me to know all of the songs that could possibly come into mm?
I know there's more to just the setlists, I just like to be prepared hehe ^u^

Just out of curiosity, why would you think 26 would be better than 28? I know this is a debatable topic so idm if you can't answer ;] :meiko_lili:

Also, I don't know if I have remembered correctly but on the official mm 24 website, I had to translate the section where you could buy the goods from Japanese to English using Google translate- mm 24 didn't translate it to English itself. Does this mean I can't buy mm 225 goods on its official website online, if the same thing happens again? If not, where can I buy the official goods for the same/similar price or lower? ^•^ :rionv4_smile_lili:

I have watched mm 19, 22-24 exhibitions, I am trying to watch them all but they are very long... Probably because it is amazing and they didn't want to miss a single bit hehe ^~^ :miku_lili:

well yes you're very correct about that, and for the first concert (in general) I would also recommend the day concert, not the evening concert: not only is easier to get by lottery tickets (because more people choose the evening concert) but you can enjoy it more. The day concert usually is not completely sold-out, and there are more family, couples and students attending it. This is just me, but I feel the day concert more relaxing and easier to enjoy, while the evening concert is more loudly. It is super fun the evening one, but the day concert it's easier to focus on the songs (also, as I wrote in a previous message, day concert is better for not tall people hehe):ia_ani_lili:

uhh for the songs interesting question! well, let's say this: usually a Miku concert (not only Magical Mirai, but also Miku Expo, Miku with You, Mikupa, and all the other concerts) have a good mix of songs: new songs, popular songs, classic songs and some legendary songs.:miku_sakura_lili:
Don't worry for not knowing the songs, because it means having more surprises! And actually, whenever the official album is announced(always around spring) I always choose not to see the songs list until after the last concert. Because I love getting surprises ^-^
But I also understand that you want to feel a bit prepared, so.. mm.. start with playing Project Diva series, for example Future Tone on PS4, or Mega Mix on Switch and PC, those already give you a very good start. After that, keep playing Project Diva, the other titles like Diva X, Diva F, Diva F 2nd (on PS3 and PS Vita)and if you can, the classic Project Diva, Diva 2nd and Extend on PSP . And Project Mirai on 3DS (Magical Mirai was born to promote the songs for Diva series and Mirai series)
then start knowing about the various producers, you'll learn that each producer have their own "signature sound" and you can easily recognize a song by Pinocchio-P, one by DECO*27 and one by AvTechno for example. Then you can follow the producers on their official channels, especially Nico Nico, and you'll discover more and more songs ^-^
VocaDB website is what I recommend to check the producers profile, their albums and songs:

hehe for 26 better for you instead of 28 just because of the waiting time, but I also understand that since you'll go to Japan with your family (if I remember correctly), is a trip that can take more time to organize and not cheap, so it's ok to take more time for that, and you can spend the time to know about the songs and planning well where to go during the days of the stay ^-^

mm for the goods, I think there was at one point a tweet message about the official store in english shipping them overseas (not sure if it was for Magical Mirai 2024 or 2023 or both, I don't remember sorry..). But there is no problem for buying from Japan directly online, just use a proxy shopping service, I can totally recommend From Japan:
https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/en/
it's very easy to use, they can buy from any store and yahoo auction, flat fee of 500yen/item, support credit card and paypal and ship with Air mail(1~2 weeks), EMS, DHL, UPS and Fedex(3~5 days), and they can storage the items for free up to 45 days (so you can buy and put more items in one box package to save on shipping costs):zunko_lili:

yes yes the exhibitions are sooo good!! in fact, many times new fans have asked here in this forum "but what do you do at the exhibition?" and they are always surprised at the amount of things to do, to see and to buy during the exhibition, You can spend all day , all the 3 days, during the all the different locations, and still have time to do something:iroha_lili:

Gog god so much info for my tiny little brain hehe :>

You make the day concerts seem so sweet and nice- it would be so nice to see groups of friends/family/couples at the venue, and just people going solo! But at the same time I would probably scream and faint while seeing Miku so I guess both day and evening concerts are for me hehe :mikoto_smile_lili:

I've already started doing the process of learning songs from Miku games, I also use Spotify and stuff too!! Your tips seem so useful, I will start using them!:gumi_lili:

I will start planning to see if I can go to 26 or 28 mm!! ^-^

I have no time to check the goods website that you recommended now since it's late at night for me hehe
I will see when I have time so probably 24 hours max. I'll tell you how it goes!
:flower_smile_lili:

Exhibitions are one of the main reasons I wanna go too!

Thank youuu! <3
