thank you for sharing that!! I already had another reservation in a hotel nearby, but I love those hotel rooms collaboration, so.. yes, I changed my reservation hehe (kept the other hotel for some days before and after~) :miku_sakura_lili:
Nice~~ <3 The doorhanger thing is pretty nice even though it's in Japanese x)
But for this time I think I am going for the cheaper options like APA hotel which you recomended tho because I am setting some money aside for some major merch shopping at the venue *_*

hehe good job!! :gumi_lili:
a small tip for saving more money (to use then for buying more goods!) during Magical Mirai: if you have breakfast option at hotel, and you can choose what to eat, try to eat something that makes you full during the day, so try to choose something like rice, sausages, a salad and a fruit juice.
Convenience stores are a very good option too for a nice meal, you can find fresh made meals (for example spaghetti or bento boxes):
https://www.sej.co.jp/products/a/pasta/
https://www.sej.co.jp/products/a/bento/
the convenience store cashier might ask you "obento atatame-masu ka?" which is asking for if you wish the meal to be warmed up in the microwave ("hai, onegai shimasu" yes please, or "iie, daijoubu desu", no thanks it's ok)
there are also hot snacks, you can buy to eat somewhere else, or even frozen food, like small pizza, most of them are ok to be cooked with a microwave (and usually every hotel has a microwave in the common area):
https://www.sej.co.jp/products/a/hotsnack/
https://www.sej.co.jp/products/a/onigiri/
https://www.sej.co.jp/products/a/bread/
and like I wrote before, it's important to bring a small backpack with some snacks and a couple of drink bottles. There are vending machines almost everywhere, but having a drink ready (especially if you're making a long line) it's always a good idea:meiko_lili:
and other places to eat well and at good prices are the family restaurants or some japanese chain restaurants. (especially after the evening concert, you'll feel very hungry) If you see a ticket vending machine at the entrance of some of those small restaurants, it means you can buy the "ticket food", most of them has english menu with pictures too, then enter and give those tickets food to the waiter/waitress, it's so convenient!:iroha_lili:

MagicalMiku, I think you can literally create a whole guidebook for us gaijin otakus and sell it xD It's pretty impressive how much helpful details you are kindly offering~ Definitely something you don't see in normal tourguide websites!! Making trips to the conbini for food was definitely part of the plan hehe...
I am actually a vegetarian so it might be a bit of an added challenge when trying to find food but I have seen people online recommend stuff that's vegetarian friendly in conbinis so I think it will work out somehow haha...(Also Google Translate and HappyCow are my best friends...)

hehe thank youuuuuu :miku_sakura_lili: :miku_ani_lili:
oh I actually made a thread about some recommendations for planning a trip to Japan before going to Magical Mirai:✨
https://vocaverse.network/threads/magical-mirai-questions-and-recommendations.9410/

and being a vegetarian in Japan actually is not a problem at all, just think of how many things you can eat made by tofu or soy beans and vegetables! Most of restaurants have vegetarian foods section in the menu, some ramen shops let you customize the main ingredients of the ramen dish, and I recommend to check the official websites of the convenience stores like Famima (Family Mart), Lawson and New Days, where you can check in advance many of the foods they are selling::piko_sakurane_lili:

https://www.lawson.co.jp/recommend/index.html

edit: also the english menu of Mos Burger, you can see the burgers made of soy protein:🍔

I hope we get to see Mesmerizer make its Magical Mirai debut since Blooming opened a new opportunity for Teto to appear in official CFM concerts.

Mesmerizer is too good to pass up for this year's concert considering that the motif of the song is also using hypnotic stars. Maybe they can turn the star designs used on the stage into the typical stars used in the music video?

Another quick question. Since I won both day and night on day 3 of Osaka, can I still apply for the second lottery for days 1 and 2? It won't void my day 3 ticket?
How much did you end up paying in total just for the tickets alone?

Are the tickets the same price regardless of seating location? I'm assuming so since the distribution of tickets is done via a lottery, which means its completely random.

On a related note, I'm surprised Western artists don't employ ticket lotteries to discourage scalpers. Since scalpers will resell tickets located at nice seats to entice hapless customers.

I also have some returning song predictions that fit the theme, though I am not confident they'll be played. Heck, maybe all the songs in this setlist are not played at all!

  1. Spica - its presence in the Blooming setlist reveals that the classic era songs dating as far back as 2011-2012 using the updated Arcade renders before Future Tone are still in use
  2. Stardust Utopia
  3. Starry Sky Chronograph
  4. Yomau Silhouette
  5. Mikaboshi
  6. Caged Flower
  7. Stargazer
  8. Starduster
  9. Tell Your World
  10. Greenlights Serenade
  11. Fire Flower
  12. Mesmerizer
  13. Sekiranun Graffiti
  14. Psi - highly doubt this would return in the same year too for CFM might overhaul the model used in the song.
  15. Alien Alien
  16. METEOR (Divela) - though this would be redundant since there would be two Meteors in the same setlist
  17. Shake it - could use the stage design to emulate a disco night if they're going to use the LED lights that look like stars. One example of these lights being used are in Mirai 2019, when they were used for Romeo and Cinderella
  18. Romeo and Cinderella
  19. Nostalogic
  20. Teo
  21. Bring It On
  22. Double Lariat - the song describes planet earth.
  23. Solar System Disco
  24. Reverse Universe
  25. Last Night Good Night

I have some more question, For the creators market, how easy is it to get a CD signed by the producer? I personally want to get a CD signed by Wanopo. I know that they're going to be there in person because I asked them on twitter and they confirmed they would both be going. But their booth is in row A right next to Pinnochio-p’s. Basically, do I need to line up at the event really early, is there a separate line for the creators market? How early is good enough to line up, what are the chances that I can actually get a cd signed by the both of them, (like do they typically delegate work to staff members?) and if they are not the ones im directly interacting with is it rude to ask for a signature at that point? I can't imagine it's exactly welcomed to have people pulling the producers up to the desk for a signature but I've never been to one of these before so I'm just not sure.
Wanopo are the only producers i have an interest in visiting, taking this into account is there any tips and tricks you guys would recommend? I will be going for 2 days so im sure that helps my chances a little.
Also Calls: I’ve never been to a miku concert and I'm not familiar with the calls. I have stumbled across a few written guides but they don't explain anything very well. Is it something that doesn't really matter all that much if I don't know them? I dont think that I'm going to get dirty looks or anything, I just don't really want to stand out. Is there a guide anyone is familiar with?

nice questions!! :len_smile_lili::rin_smile_lIlI:
so.. for the Creators Market, the first thing I recommend is to save the webpages of Creators Market as PDF on your phone, so you can have all the map and producers info on your screen even offline. Here are the webpage for Sendai, Osaka and Tokyo:
For both Sendai and Osaka, you need to wear the wristband of the exhibition of that day in order to access the Creators Market, since is a paid-only area. For Tokyo, the Creators Market is inside the main exhibition hall, so once you are in the exhibition, you can access it:
* A ticket (fee required/separate for each admission date) is required to enter the exhibition venue where the Creators Market is held.
As you can see from the websites, the Creators Market opening/closing hours are different, so please check well in advance. Usually, it opens 1 hour later after Exhibition opens, and closes 2 hours early (but again, check well the hours on the main website because things could change).
For example, Tokyo Creators Market time is 10:00-16:00, and the exhibition time is 9:00-18:00 (last-entry 17:30).
In general, a line will be made about 1 hour-30 minutes before. A staff member will hold a sign at the end of line, and if you're unsure, don't worry and just ask to the staff member (they wear Staff t-shirt), because there will be different lines for Creators Market, for the live concert, for the official goods shop, for the other booths, .. so always check the holding signs of end of line.
Some popular producers (like PinocchioP or Luna*) will likely have extra long lines once you are in the Creators Market, so that's why it's important to have the map on your phone, so you can check their table position.
How easy is to have a CD signed by the producer? It's not super difficult, but but!! For each producer, please check well their twitter page, they could write some information about the Market. It's different for each producer and artist, but I recommend to line up, once you are in the exhibition and have the wristband, as early as you can. They sometimes delegate work to staff members, but usually you find them I would say 75% of times. They are surely there during the opening hours.
And it's not rude at all to ask for a sign on the CD jacket, they love to be there for their fans ^u^ sometimes they might not be there for having some rest, eat lunch, or even go to one of the live concert (yes, they enjoy the concerts together with all the fans). After you bought something from them, you can politely ask in easy english if it's possible to have the CD signed by the producer, and if there is other staff member, you can ask if they know when they'll be back, so you can come back there.
Enjoy your time in the Creators Market and I recommend to check the other producers and artists tables as well. I have some friends who are producers and artists that attend every year the Creators Market, and if you're interested in their work, it's always good to support them by buying something there, some CDs and goods are so nice and can't find anywhere else:meiko_lili:
Another tip is: if you have a thank message for them, it's better to handwrite it on a letter and give it to them. A nice gesture (you might already know) is to give it by holding it with both of your hands and make a small bow at same time, as a sign of greeting and respect. It's ok to handwrite the letter in english, they can translate it later. Some producers might know some english, but I always recommend to learn some basic greetings in japanese, they'll appreciate a lot!
And about the calls, you mean cheering during the concert? Don't worry, just be yourself and if you'll attend more than one concert, then you'll learn a lot from the first one, especially penlights movements and some cheerings during the songs. For some songs, you'll feel to applaud at the end of the song, I would say follow your heart, and whenever you feel, do a nice clapping. And if you have 2 penlights and the person sitting next to you doesn't have a penlight, is a very nice gesture to give one ^-^
Also, here are the official rules of Waiting/Viewing::lapis_lili:
- Please refrain from wearing hats, dressings, cheering goods, etc. which may block the view for other audience members.
- Do not wave cheering goods other than glow sticks. Ring lights within the regulations may be used.
- Excessive waving of glow sticks may cause trouble to other audience members. Be careful to not block the view of others around you when cheering.
- Please cheer within your designated seat space.
- The concert will be very loud; please be careful for young children.
- Jumping, standing on your seat, and bringing in your own stool to stand on are prohibited.
- The concert will be approximately 2 hours long.
- Taking pictures and recording video or audio in the concert hall are strictly forbidden.
- Although photography inside the exhibition is allowed in general, there may be sections where taking photos and audio recording are not allowed depending on the content. Please follow the indications as well as the staff's instructions.

You really know how to assuage my worries Magical Miku! I'm in your debt once again. I think i'll do just that, get up early, get to the venue before it opens and b line it right for the creators market as soon as I can. after that i can take the event at my own pace, do you have an idea on how much physical cash i should bring? like the going rate for some cd's and such. I've heard that often the creators market will only accept cash,

you're welcome ^u^ always happy to help!! :miku_lili:
and yes yes, totally right about bringing cash, because it's easier for them to accept cash payments. Some might accept cards and ic-card (like Pasmo and Suica) too, but in general is always good idea to have cash. How much? I would say.. at least 20.000yen for Creators Market, here is why: a CD album usually costs around 2.000-3.000yen, then you might find some other goods, for example acrylic character display stand, keychain, file folders, wallscrolls, t-shirts, .. all these goods can have a price from 500yen to.. 5.000yen?
You can exchange cash at the airport once you're arrived, there are also automatic machines to exchange money in yen. Then you can use the extra cash to charge your Suica card, or just to buy more goods, foods, use the vending machines, and so on ^^ Since the exchange rate is very good now, is better to have more japanese yen in cash :ia_lili:
I also recommend to check the producers and artists twitter page, because they usually post there in advance the list of goods that will be available. And their item stock is limited, much more limited compared to the official shops, so that's why is good to line up early ^-^
