E-V00 error with Piapro (explanation in description)

So....
One time I got a KAITO V3 trial (It was legit)
but for some reason it broke my piapro studio and reverted it to the v3 version.
after I uninstalled him it gave me the error. I've uninstalled Piapro, deleted its registry keys, the whole shabang.


Didn't work.
So now my two options are

1. Factory reset my computer (nuclear option)
or
2. Use a demo editor for the rest of my life, rendering my VOCALOID4 trial useless (I've used all the demos before except for the rin/len one)

This is probably a dumb question, but have you tried reinstalling the, I'm assuming V4 Piapro over top of the broken V3 one, or since you uninstalled the old? I know sometimes things hide in the registry keys, but I don't use Piapro so I couldn't tell you where...

edit: I can't see that error on Piapro's support page, which is a little puzzling. Maybe it needs to be activated??

If you were using a trial of the Piapro V4 editor (probably from a trial of a different V4 Vocaloid, I'm guessing?), is it possible that that trial expired on its own, independent of what happened with Kaito? I don't know how the trials enforce the 39-day lifetime--is it just the VB that stops working, or does Piapro itself stop also? (I would have assumed Piapro might stop also, since you can run non-CFM VBs in it--if trial versions of it lasted forever, it would basically be freeware.)

exactly, the problem is in the trial, because once the time period is expired, you can't use it anymore.
to make a good cleaning of the files after the uninstall, delete also the folders of previous installation you find in "C:/Program Files" and in the (hidden) "C:/Users/yourUsername/AppData/Roaming".

it seems like "E-V00" is generic error, since E-V01 and E-V02 are about not finding the installation files of Vocaloid 3 or Vocaloid 4. You really need a complete paid licensed Vocaloid product, you install it and activate it on your computer and it will work.. (and if it won't work, you can then contact the Yamaha and Crypton support to ask to reset the activation)

I have a non-trial piapro v4x from PIAPRO CHARACTERS SUPER PACK
I never installed the V3 version
I've done the fileclean and i can try it again but i don't think AppData/Roaming even has it
I used VOCATRY on the KAITO trial nearly 3 months or so prior and it didn't break or revert the editor
My SONICWIRE account is registered under my dad's email.
I can try asking their support thread again, and asking my dad to change the email registered with SONICWIRE so I can try resetting everything.
I also tried deleting registry keys and the broken kaito vb
