About

Hime and Mikoto, both voiced by Koiwai Kotori, are the newest addition to the Vocaloid family!
Their designs are based on ume (japanese plum), shrine maidens and oni(Demons).
They are the 2nd and 3rd Vocaloid 5 exclusive Voicebanks made by a third party company.
Hime and Mikoto are also the first Vocaloid 5 characters with extra Talkloid Voicebanks not made by AHS!

They will be released on the 30th of March 2019.

It's officially their release day in Japan!
They are up on the Vocaloid shop, both the japanese and the english one.
I'm going to update all links so they are easier to navigate.
With their release we got some 'Congrats on your release'-Fanart and also some cover songs.
And not to forget, the full version of one of their demo songs, made by their voice provider! The last hours were really something.
I can't remember any other Vocaloid release, or even just trial release, that ended with the servers going down because of too much traction!
I'm super happy that so many seem to love them already. They deserve it!


One of the fanarts is this super adorable Live2D model of Hime's talkloid outfit.
Turn on the volume! She has something to say. :)
I'm not sure though if they used some of her sound samples or her talkloid bank.

Full demo song!

Here is the full version of their demo song made by their voice provider Koiwai Kotori!
She did everything herself! The music, the lyrics, the art, the video! Quite impressive.
It's so nice to see another voice provider love their Vocaloid(s) that much!
And that right from the beginning!

Okay, a week ago (I think) on the other forums that also talks about Meika Hime and Mikoto, I wrote this:

Now that the Meikas are out, I would like to chat about the possibility that the fans would do for them:
1. Make covers (duh.) Here's my prediction for the Meikas: 1 2 Fanclub, Matryoshka, and Magnet.
2. Speaking of Magnet, I bet that a few fans would ship Hime and Mikoto. Don't believe me? Minutes ago, I saw one on Pixiv in which one of the drawings in which the Meikas kissing with each other. Literally.
(Please don't kill me.)

Well... a few minutes later sangv said kyaami DID made a cover for 1 2 Fanclub:
After that a few days later (I think) while on SoundClould I've found this cover for Magnet! The bad news, though, is that this cover only use their voice but that's it.:

Super late, but ever since I heard cillia/kyaami's song using MEIKA Mikoto, I've loved her. I'm a big fan of darker/huskier female voices.

I also love this Melt cover, but I might be biased since I've been really into Melt lately.

Big news!
For the Meikas 1st anniversairy gynoid asked 3 producers to write songs!
Those producers are inabakumori, Kairiki Bear and HoneyWorks!
The songs will be released throughout this month.

As a big inabakumori and Kairiki Bear fan I'm suuuper excited aaahh
They are a bit late for the celebration but that's fine

The song is out! It features only Hime and is called "The flower waiting for the wind".
I already expected inabakumori to either use only Hime or use her more than Mikoto in the song,
just because they are so used to working with a high and breathy vocal already.

It's a cute song but I personally don't like it that much. The art is pretty though!





Only Kairiki Bear's song is missing now.. even though it's already August. hmmm.
