    Do I hate myself for not getting Miku V2 when she was still cheap and easily available two years ago? Oh yes I do. Haahh.. sometimes waiting is not a good idea.

    Dang, I had the same situation but with powerfx vocaloids, I always told myself I would get them later and their boxes when maybe they get cheaper (what was I thinking?). Just around that time they decided to stop doing boxed editions, biggest regrets. I could always get digital, just not the same though...

    @Cookiez oh yeah same. I also really only want boxed Vocaloids.. I don't know, they are just too expensive for me to just be ok with not having anything in my hands. The more time passes the harder it gets but my money just keeps saying nope arghh

    Youtube recommended me Mirai's debut song again and it just made me sad. She is so cute! I love her voice in this! They put so much effort into the video!
    And they still try to promote her as much as they can, even sold Mirai chocolates for Valentines day.. but no one really seems to care about her :(

    Nothing against Mirai and I wasnt around for her release but didnt she actually come out of nowhere?

    @patuk yeah she wasn't really announced before but what actually hurt her was that she was the last/one of the last V4 loids right before V5 was announced. Same what happened with Chika.. an actually good voicebank that was just completely overshadowed by new annoncements :( But most other loids die because their companies don't do anything with them and that's not even the case with her. poor girl..

    I feel like she's more of a mascot for Bandai-Namco rather than a standalone Vocaloid that just happened to be developed by a big company (like Mayu). That's probably why you don't see many Vocaloid fans talk about her, even on this forum.

    I just read the worst article about Miku in a long long time. Lots of false information and prejudice. Awful. Sad that german journalists still haven't opened themselves to the idea of Miku. :'/

    It’s a shame that people aren’t a little more open about Vocaloid and some people are quick to dismiss it as “weird singing robots” or just more “lol JaPaN is SO weird”. I once read an article that was so incredibly misinformed, that they thought Miku was a robot that would gain “sentience” and become some kind of killer robot.

    I wish people would be more open and stop acting like Vocaloid is so weird (and stop acting like it’s for “weebs”). It’s an instrument with a mascot. How is that any different than other mascot things in the west?:miku2_move:

    I feel you so much. In the article she was described as "a soulless avatar" and oohh woow, ACTUAL!! REAL!!! musicians on stage of flesh and blood too, how nice. 🙄 Also "Oh she's super sexualised and forever 16" in the typical disgusted wording. mhhh. Described the lightsticks as "poison green lightsabers" and also claimed her animation would be bad? wtf. Just awful.

    People are quite confused and freaking out a bit over AHS selling Gumi anniversairy stuff in their shop now. It is quite weird. I wonder what it means, if it means anything at all?

    Does anyone else remember a cover of Hishoku no Sora (Shakugan no Shana opening) with Satou Sasara? I'm 100% sure it existed and it was pretty 'old' because I think it was stated that they had to tune it outside of Cevio. But I can't find it anymore :(( It was so good.
