I can't recall which studies I spotted these from, but I've heard people who are more intelligent and/or creative on average have a higher risk of developing mental illnesses. Sadly, this is also true for the Vocaloid fandom - it's no surprise that the songs dealing with mental health are the most popular ones in the West.
