The Robots ft. Hatsune Miku [Original by Kraftwerk]

I spent a lot of time meticulously recreating the synth sounds from the original, in order to bring this homage to the legend of synthesizer music to life. All synth sounds were created with Vital, percussion is from Battery 4, and the vocoder is the stock one in my DAW (Studio One).

Forgot to mention...the video was made with Blender for the 3D parts, DaVinci Fusion for the text, and a bit of Python magic to generate the oscilloscope lines. It was a ton of work, but I'm mostly happy with how it turned out. It's full of nods to the original music video...and the wireframe concept also isn't too far from some of the visuals they do in their contemporary live performances.

I'm still kicking myself, because they toured not terribly far from me, but I didn't know until it was too late to arrange a trip and get tickets.

Yes, in these cases, don't hesitate! ;)
I made sure to see at least once in my life the bands I loved like OMD, Tears For Fears, A-Ah, Depeche Mode, Phil Collins, Alison Moyet and Jean Michel Jarre,
moreover, one of his musicians and friend was with me at the Kraftwerk concert ;)

I did catch Babymetal and Franz Ferdinand (a second time) in a span of a few months around when Kraftwerk would have been, so I'm not going to complain too much lol.
