I really want an honest opinion on my test cover of this song. I know there are some things i can do to make it better but I'm all out of ideas. I'm using vocaloid 5 and miku English.
Thank you! I'll try tuning it down a bit that should help with the warble. where there any moments that you couldn't hear or understand the lyrics? She sounds so beautiful and clear! My one critique is that she sounds a bit warbly. I'd recommend pulling back on the pitch bends/skill some (whichever it is primarily). Other than that? This might be one of the best Miku English uses I've heard.
Honestly? None that stand out. There's a few words around 0:35 that are more difficult to make out, but taking into account her accent it's not detrimental.Thank you! Thank you!Ooh, this sounds much more stable! It's beautiful.
It's not the best but it's still in the early stages. This is what my tuning sounds like in her optimal range. I was working on it and it also needs some opinions.Good just on getting the "warble" out. I would recommend you to see if it works well with a song that is in her optimal range (no offense, you still did wonderful with this one.) I would want to listen to any cover you pump out.
Ya wish that was the problem but i didn't use the skill function in this song. i think its the vibrato accent i tend to use plus the over tuning I do.the wobble-y effect is something common when relying too much on vocaloid 5's singing skills, I'd recommend to reduce a bit the strength of the singing skill amount and skill values
I'm trying to pinpoint the wobblethe tuning in the chorus is very good! though imo in the other verses it still sounds wobble-y?
It sounds more legato maybe staccato, but it's not bad at all. Personally, I would put a small amount of vibrato at the end, something to make it warble at the end of longer notes just a little, unless staccato is what you are going for. If you are going for more realism, a bit of vibrato at the end is good IMO because almost all humans have that pitch warble if we hold onto a note for a while.I'm trying to pinpoint the wobble. Does it sound weird when she starts saying the notes of when she holds on the notes? it might be the vibrato I played around with it to try to get the wobble out. If its not out I don't know what else i could do to it.
I will be adding a moderate amount of vibrato. I can't seem to find a good middle ground she either has too much vibrato or i find she sounds flat. The style I always try to go for is to make her sound as human human as possible. I try to tune in a way that gives her some natural 'human errors'. But its one thing for that to be my intention and another for that to be what she sounds like. I hope I'm making sense. Its hard to make something without outside help. Thank you for you help and descriptions its really encouraging ^-^It sounds more legato maybe staccato, but it's not bad at all. Still, wonderful job!
I'm gonna be bluntSo I need help again. This a work in progress and after listening to it again i can hear a few things that need changing but I also want to know you guys' opinion
First off i gotta fix the squeaks she does on high notes throughout the song thats for sure. (I just noticed how bad they are when I did listen to it without head phones) but thats fine cause I think i put them there. I might even change singers cause Miku's voice is not soft enough for this song
Anyone have any ideas?
And this is where the VB fails you in being... uh what's the word@BlueJ I think this is better. I think it's in the right key this time.I decided to make it a duet with MEIKO because I wasn't satisfied with how it sounded with MIKU alone. This is the first time I mix with 2 different voices so its possible that some parts are not at the same volumes or the mixing is just off. ya'll can point it out if you notice something.
