Aww man, that's so shitty to hear. Even if fans are understanding, I wouldn't be surprised if people didn't pay up again for a WhiteCUL VB (because what if history repeats itself?).

I'm just gonna dismiss WhiteCUL V6 as vaporware for the time being, unless they get some kind of proper backer to support the project, like a company.

Here's a summary of how people have interpreted the post. It's difficult to get an accurate translation of another language's legalese, so take this with a pinch of salt.

Some of the funds raised for WhiteCUL V6 were instead given to the bar 39Party to fund their relocation (this bar was founded in part by one of Zan-Shin's directors). The document seems to consist largely of pointing fingers and descriptions of them scrambling to take out loans and push resignations to cover the loss. In short, Zan-Shin has been horribly mismanaged behind the scenes, with crowdfunding money used for employees' other businesses instead of what was promised.

To emphasise how unclear the situation is, a Japanese user quotetweeted '誰か分かりやすく要約してクレメンス' ('Someone please summarise in plain English'). So this isn't just a language barrier, haha.

From what we're able to glean, I would strongly advise against anyone giving Zan-Shin money in the future.

wow.... that's not really fair. I'm actually feeling really sorry for Zan-Shin (I think that's the name of WhiteCUL's company, from context). If I could help re-fund WhiteCUL V6 I would.

Ooof, even if I happened to stan the CUL family, I definitely wouldn't support any future Zan-Shin projects in the future after reading this. What a dumpster fire.

WhiteCUL's voice provider, Tsumika Oda, has provided her statement on the situation. Previously, she alluded to moving away and seeking legal advice, while Zan-Shin claimed the delay was because they hadn't been able to set a recording schedule with her.

It appears she hasn't been paid for any work she's done so far (possibly referring to her Voicevox voicebank from three years ago); she was due to receive payment after the V6 voicebank was completed, but the amount offered was less than half what Rosa's voice provider was paid. She also loaned money to the company, which hasn't been repaid despite an agreement being made. On top of this, she describes doing art and design work, again unpaid. From the translation, it appears they pressured her to continue despite her wanting to leave the company.

She mentions Zan-Shin engaging in deceptive practices, such as hiding her comments and using her characters in ways she wasn't happy with; acting as though they owned their copyright despite her not having signed over their rights. She alludes to being scammed out of a very large sum of money.

tl;dr I do not expect a WhiteCUL voicebank with Oda from Zan-Shin unless this dispute is somehow resolved (which right now looks more like it'll be concluded in court), but I hope her voice provider is able to release a character she's happy with at some point. I love her voice, and I really like the design too.
