edit: I hope they'll release a Blu-ray/DVD, like this "超歌舞伎 今昔饗宴千本桜" (which has official english subtitles too) from 2017
I'll second that!

I got to see one of these performances, and I've always wanted a DVD/Blu-Ray release. It's a somewhat different experience if you're only used to Western stage productions (e.g., the first 20 minutes or so prior to the start of the actual body of the story seemed to be a no-dialogue series of acted scenes depicting the seasons/setting, I think; the minimal exposition brought to mind a kind of haiku for the stage), but part of the fun of loving Miku is getting to enjoy experiencing and appreciating the culture she comes from. Someday I could try to look up a knowledgeable explanation of what that first 20 minutes was, but there's a certain enjoyment in going in blind and trying to let the experience explain itself on its own terms.

Once the story started, of course, there was dialogue.

The stage effects were also quite impressive. Miku really worked in seamlessly as a character, and as an actress during part where the actors spoke to the audience as themselves.
