Other Chorical x Techno-Speech, SELENA for VoiSona Coming 2024

The song features a perspective of scattered identity - so for the purposes of the PV a simplified SELENA design, a genderbend design, a crypton-style design, and Oktavia's own avatar design were featured. All designs aside from Oktavia's were specifically made for the PV and I'm so proud of Egg-tan, Menace, and Suzie's conjoined efforts.
This demo is beautiful! I love the different designs. It's catchy too, and her tuning is beautiful. I seriously love Selena's tone so much. I can't wait for her to release. Great work as usual to everyone involved 
this demo feels SO eerily like an older-age vocaloid song being translated and covered by an utaite, which of course is the literal perfect style of song to show off selena with...
i could cry from how badly i wanna use her, because not only is she just such a solid sounding english vocal, but i truly feel like the voisona engine captures so many details of oktavia's singing style and exactly what makes HER unique, it translates amazingly to selena!!
she tunes so well... and i LOVE using voisona, so im literally foaming at the mouth at the thought of getting to be able to use her soon.
what else can i say about how amazing i think selena is... hmmmmm... her power sounds INCREDIBLY natural and everything blended together so well, the engine noise felt nonexistent to me...

I'm so happy to hear both the love for the demo and for Selena as a voicebank, and thank you from the bottom of both my and Chorical's hearts. Techno-Speech, Chorical, and Oktavia have been working extremely hard on Selena this year, and also to really push the boundaries with what can be done in the VoiSona engine, in more ways than can be revealed right now. I sincerely hope that this hard work is visible now, but even more-so when she releases and more information is revealed in the future, especially with the development blog!
The wait is almost over, less than a month until release - but don't think this will be the last demo song, there's for certain one more in store. So far we haven't been able to properly demonstrate her soft and light voice styles, so the next demo will prioritize light, and we're still hoping to push out a song using exclusively soft some time after the release period. I look forward to seeing what beautiful songs and other mediums people create with Selena when she releases and furthering the Color Spectrum Series ^_^

Exciting! All of Selena's demos have been bangers so far. I'm excited to see what people do with her once she's released, and what the new extra vocal style is!
Also just curious if you guys are considering making a Bluesky profile? Seems a lot of people are jumping ship from Twitter now, and I've seen a lot of vocalsynth people over there too. Might be good to jump on that when more and more people may miss the Twitter announcements

She's been released! Thank you everyone for your support, and I look forward to a bright future with SELENA.
In celebration of her 10th year as a project and upcoming 1st anniversary, Chorical is hosting a SELENA song contest. As of yesterday, users can use SELENA for one month completely free, so those who have yet to purchase her can still enter! As mentioned in our full statement, the month period to use her voicebank relies on when you apply (so if you apply on Sept 30th, you'll have her until Oct 30th). The contest ends on November 6th at 11:59 PM CST, with the grand prize winner appearing on an upcoming compilation album to be released in physical and digital formats. Alongside this album will be a new set of merch which will be available by itself or in a limited mega-bundle.
i *cannot* believe that i've been around to witness selena's near-whole life. i remember seeing her as a mere project in utaforums (and as a scot, was kinda hyped about it being built off of UofE's festival tts. "selena for synthv when?!" no, let's backport her to her roots /j)
