I love this topic, could absolutely write essays dissecting every little detail of vocal synth character design. I'd probably comes off as very critical, but I think the designs that don't quite work can be some of the most interesting, so they're the ones I like discussing the most.

i think its a great thing to discuss! mostly because i think it could be good knowledge for those who also want to design, perhaps utauloids and other things. from design that are easy to read, to complex ones that still hold up. there is a lot to be said about what makes a good design- not just whats "simple". honestly i would love to write a essay sorta thing to point out things about designs.... not sure how id present it tbh! but its always been on my mind....
