i was out all day so im really looking forward to sitting down and watching it tonight!! im not like, a huge mlp nerd by any means but it really looks adorable

It's tied so deeply to Friendship is Magic that having that extra knowledge of the previous series makes it that much deeper, but honestly, even without that knowledge, it's just so good. As @luwo can attest to~

i watched a bit of FiM but def not the whole thing-- still i did witness it enough due to knowing so many ppl in the fandom that i kinda knew what happened in that series?? but thats good to know! im kinda surprised theyd tie it to the previous generation seeing as this is the new (?) generation? as i wouldve assumed they maybe wouldnt have referenced it much or at all at first
