Aaaaaaaaah the screencaps for the AWL remake look so good!! It's super faithful to the style of the original while still looking a little more bouncy and modernized. And most importantly, the inclusion of both Mark and Pony AND A NON-BINARY OPTION?? Xseed, Marvelous, y'all had better come through on this one after the bland travesty of a "romance" system y'all had in Pioneers of Olive Town

Now time to figure out who the heck these new candidates are too! Aaaaaah how exciting~

That thread shows all the new designs compared to the old ones and.. pls look at my wife Nami, thank you very much. The game looks SO GOOD and very much like the original just more modern. I think we don't have to be scared of this being bad, it seems like they are better at the remakes right now than new original content. I'm SO excited, alsooooo there seems to be character customization too

Okay, I am WEEPING over these redesigns. I thought the FoMT redesigns were top-tier, and even though I have a much deeper attachment to FoMT and its world and characters, these redesigns just. Blow them ALL out of the water. (Except poor Celia/Cecelia, who got nothing. ) The only one I don’t know how to feel about is Marlin/Matthew’s redesign; I love it because he’s no longer Value Brand Elvis, but even for how simple both designs are, his new one just feels so… different.
