I'd nickname her Saradayo (And her character item is a サラダ (salad) /bad pun)
Ugggh I hate that shit, attitudes like that feed my brainworms I'm just a faker when I am just trying to liiive except not really because I'm a shutin hA
The amount of biphobia within the LGBT (despite the B obviously standing for bisexuals) community has actually stopped me from coming out the rest of the closet and engaging with it. I don't feel safe wandering into lesbian spaces, for example, because I end up worrying about those with old-school opinions jumping on me for liking both men and women, as if liking dudes somehow negates the not-so-straight aspect of me.
The other reason is that I've been happily dating a man for nearly nine years, although I realised I was bi a few years into the relationship. He's been really supportive since then, so I don't feel a need to reach out to other women who like women, even though I still "pass" as straight to nearly everyone else in my life I haven't told.
Oh my God, Saradayo. That's amazing. Thankfully, my sister's name is spelled without the H, so there's that small distinction! But it's still just too close for me. So I might just go with Saradayo after all~
This comment in particular comes from a post talking about the difference between bisexuality and pansexuality. The amount of people who genuinely, whole-heartedly believe bi people are "basically just straight," "gays wanting to be unique," or "pan/poly/omni, but bigots" is disgusting and disturbing. I've seen people proposing changing the acronym to LGT or LGPT because "bis don't belong!" (not many people mercifully, but still). We're all victims of an aggressively heteronormative society, why can't we all just... you know, unite?
It felt so cheesy I almost didn't hit send so I'm glad to hear you liked it
Ugggh yeah I hate it when people gatekeep crap and attack identities they don't understand. Like so many times I've seen people be like "Bi is transphobic!" when A) hello bi trans people exist and B) there's a bisexual manifesto from the 90s that literally says "Do not assume there are only two genders."
