I don't know if this forum is aware but there's a significant number of people more in the mainstream side of music who are hearing of Synthv and immediately comparing it to things like chatgpt or midjourney because they both have "AI" elements and it makes me want to barf every time

Totally agree. SynthV is way more ethical than any Ai out there and it's so weird how people simply don't care about other people's voice being used without their permission to train models. Although I like some of these covers, it's undeniably unethical.

I don’t really mind some jinriki utaus, but there’s new ai banks really creep me out. (With the utaus you can absolutely tell that they’re not the real person, but some of these ai could easily fool some people)

High quality acapella is very accessible these days. The price can as low as 10$ and you get the whole packs and there is a lot of website that give it for free too and most terms of uses doesn't cover anything related to the AI training so it wouldn't be surprise that people use it for training AI.
