  • I was telling my mom about my current activation problems and she’s like “Can’t you contact Yamaha?” Like no Yamaha doesn’t care about anyone, they just want money.

That'll still be your best option. They take their time, but they'll still help to the best of their ability, at the end of the day.

i mean, i got numerous vocaloids reset on activations when i contacted them. my PC died so i had a hell time getting it all on my new computer. however for a few i had to contact the companies directly- i specifically recall contacting zero-g and powerfx who reset them for me. if you havent contacted the individuals you can (mainly english ones) i suggest you do first, and then contact yamaha. the less loids you gotta ask about the better off you'll probably be lol as usually the smaller companies are just quicker at responding. you cant give up if you havent even tried!
I have to backup some of my mom's files tomorrow. Hoping that her external drive also has some older files I'm missing.
Why is it that cats will sit in any box??? I do not understand.

    If It fits I sits.
    Cat.... Probably.

Also it's depend on the cat, every cats have their own favorite cardboard shape to sit in, and it's seem like their size doesn't matter how small or big cats (tiger, jaguar, panther, cheetah, etc), they'all love box due to their nature habitat.

Cats are ambush predators and finding confined places where they can hide, hunt prey and feel safe and warm is an instinctive behaviour.
Snug cardboard boxes fit the bill perfectly.

    Box are safe
Cats get comfort and security from enclosed spaces, which is why they love spending time in cardboard boxes.
Cats use boxes as hiding places where predators can’t sneak up on them from the side or behind. If your cat is in a box, any “intruders” like prey, humans or other pets have to come directly into their field of vision, meaning nothing can surprise them.

And cats like boxes because they help to reduce stress and offer a safe zone where your cat can observe and not be seen
This is ideal for cats as their reaction to stressful situations is often to run and hide. Cats don’t have in-built conflict resolution strategies, so they much prefer to hide from their problems. The safety of the private, enclosed space is another possible answer to why do cats like boxes.

    It's a bit too much, i'm sorry.

So I'm down to: pc needs updates, surface pen somewhere in storage, and some installers are stuck on my tablet for now. At least this pc works
So my computer is still an expensive brick. Very frustrating to keep going through, but now I have a very nice 15 dollar wired keyboard so there’s something positive. Gonna see if I can use my mom’s second surface for drawing. It’ll be weird not having the finesse of a wacom tablet, but it should be okay to use.
Remembered MeAw for a minute. I forgot that they sounded like pitched up Iroha and Gumi.

Yeah same, and the other inght i've found back and posted videos of songs from Neko Jump (who presumably voiced them) and discovered they're now onto an unit with their younger sister =o Also, under nostalgia effects, I've started making vroid attempts of Mee and Aw

My mom’s picking me up a wired keyboard tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be able to get into safe mode on my pc and can deactivate vocas.
It is really hard to choose new drawing pencils. I was looking at derwent, but the faber castell ones look nicer. Hmm :/
So I was thinking, my intro to Miku was in august/sept 2009 and my first use of utau was late 2011. Vocaloids have been in my life for over half my life now. OwO (These are most likely dates. Had to do backwards calculations based on school years)
Starting feel like the cryptonloids should’ve moved to synthv instead of a new engine. Not liking the results I’m hearing in Project Sekai.

Given how many solid VBs they've put out in the past, I can't at all begrudge them for wanting to do their own thing, or for not getting it right right away. I think they jumped the gun and launched it before they were ready, but remember everything we hear in Project Sekai is still in beta. Ultimately, they're doing what they feel is best for their VBs moving forward, and I can't hold that against them.

While I'm not incredibly fond of what I've heard so far, I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic since they're still in beta and I'm certain things have been difficult for CFM these trying times. Overall, my main gripe is the "noise"/frogginess the engine adds to the voices--NT itself looks promising otherwise. If they can get the "noise" worked out, then I'm definitely on board.
Though, now I'm curious what Cryptonloid would sound like on SynthV--maybe some local hackerman will attempt that, but who knows, lol.
The whole concept of vocal synth elitism confounds me. At the bottom of it all, they’re just pieces of software.
I kinda want to try for the next english hololive audition, but I worry that my health won’t be stable enough by then. I am hoping that somehow I’ll be able to aquire a better pc and will have the opportunity to do voca synth tuning/gaming streams on my own anyway.

well, a lot of Hololive members had health problems right after they started and even before and it really wasn't a problem for the company. So if that's your biggest concern, I think they are quite accommodating with that. Go for it!!
Various people seeing images of anime characters at the beach: *Gets excited because of girls in swimsuits*

Seeing all of these people pick emojis for themselves, I finally found the perfect one for me. The wind chime! 🎐

Cool =o (to be honest I don't know what could be mine... Perhaps the sparkling heart because I tend to overabuse it and because it's cute and carries well when I'm really liking something or somebody 💖 I could nearly hear chimes or glossy sounds when using it, like in those shoujo anime)
