I'm following this. I'm interested in getting him and Cyva, but don't want to have to buy v5 just to use them! >.>
(Maybe try checking Amazon! They have old vbs sometimes.)

Cyman was download only, so unfortunately, you aren't going to have any luck. Sorry.

(Cyva, VY2, and VY1 had physicals, but VY2's is basically gone by now.)

Well, that's unfortunate.
Maybe to get around the v5 issue, you could tune the English vsq in v4 first then plug'n'play with Cyman in v5? Don't know how well it'd work since I'm not experienced with Engloids or v5 in general. >~<

Amazon's a bust. He's been pulled from both Yamaha's website and the Vocaloid website. eBay doesn't have him either. In desperation, I asked on his Wiki page if there's anywhere else he can be found.

Regarding making a VSQ in V4, I'd still have to fine-tune it to fit his voice, and my V5 editor freezes and crashes if I so much as undo an action too quickly. It could work, in theory, but it would still be highly impractical.

Quite frankly, I think you're very unlikely to find a V4 version of him, to use Cyman your only option is probably to invest into stronger PC.

Yeah, unfortunately Yamaha discontinued officially several voices like 2 weeks before V5 came out. Cyber Songman has no physical version. I think the only way you could get him is to buy someone's serial number/download file somehow. Or upgrade your PC like @patuk suggested.

Actually, I think a weird/expensive option would be to get that Cubase DAW version so you can have Vocaloid 4.5, then you would be able to use Cyber Songman V5 in 4.5.

Dammit. Why retire a voicebank not even two years after you release it? No wonder there's a continuous exodus from Vocaloid; Yamaha sucks.

...how would I go about trying to buy a serial code, I wonder? The only other option I could afford isn't legal.
