hoooonestly like...sometimes I'll find ust/vsq for a song and the tuning is so good I'd feel kinda bad for ""ruining it"" so I just leave it be and...move on
Just give tuning a go! You'll keep getting better and better!
I understand, tho. Even though I'm confident in my tuning, sometimes I feel conflicted 'cause I don't wanna just P'N'P, but I also don't know if my tuning holds up in comparison to the original tuning. ^^"
(I mean, the first thing I ever tuned was a sh*tty cover of Lost One's Weeping and quite frankly, I'm embarrassed I ever uploaded that, lol. Point being, you'll get better with practice! Also, tbf, Vocaloid tuning has such a learning curve compared to UTAU because the way you tune is just... weird.)
The problem is, I've been tuning for the past two years, and I've yet to improve. It's kinda par the course for everything I do - no matter how much I work at something, I never get better, just slightly less worse. Like, I literally, physically can't get good at anything. It's frustrating. Though I HAVE started using Piapro Studio, so tuning is easier now that I can see what I'm doing!
oh yall i feel this my tuning was at a standstill bad state for yeeeeeears. Even now it's nothing impressive but I feel like my covers are finally at "im not ruining the vsqx" level. But for a solid 5 years my covers were just all so bad.
If you wanna improve maybe try tuning in utau, there is more room for weird experimental stuff, vocaloid can be little restrictive tbh, I think it can help you in gaining more experience.
