You could always set the Switch's time back to when the shops are open, unless you'd rather not time travel!

id prefer not to time travel but i might end up doing it so that i can actually play when the shops are open lol!!

Me and my sister were really adamant about not time traveling, but ended up traveling back/forth by only a few hours maybe once a week at most (like making it 8 o clock in the game if we wake up at 5 am so we can actually use the Nook store). It's seriously not a big deal if you only adjust the time by a few hours so you get some daylight (a big deal as in game breaking). All you have to do is go in the Switch settings to change the time and when you are finished, just mark it to be in synch with real world time again and it's like nothing major happened in the game.

yeah i was adamant about not doing it at first too, but with having schoolwork to do during the day, I usually dont hop on until very late at night and it sucks never being able to shop or talk to half my villagers. I might just scooch the clock back a couple hours....

my problem was that i really like the night music (and also play at night) but nights aren't a good time to play in New Leaf lol

i was playing at 3 am the other night and the 3 am music sounds so bad lmao. it reminds me of the "you failed" sound effect.

Honestly, I feel like the first Animal Crossing (Gamecube) music had the most iconic soundtrack. The New Hoirzons one isn't very memorable to me and is kind of strange.
