To tell you the truth, the same thing's happened to me: when my ex cheated on me, she and a few other people I was fond of told everyone I'd cheated on her, and since we went to such a small school, word got around fast, and I left with very few friends. I know it hurts a lot, and I know it can feel unbearable, but please believe me when I say things WILL get better. Ah, thanks for sharing your story peaches. I know how you feel about the small school thing, we live in a very small town where he was born and raised but I've only lived here for 2 years, so everyone is inclined to trust him in this. Now people I used to be friends with are treating me weird and I don't know if they'll ever trust me. It sucks how easy lies spread.
