I was honestly looking forward to the new versions of CeVIO, but now I'm just... Eh? I'll follow Kafu to see how she does with her Type B bank, and I'll also wait for any news about ONE and IA English, but apart from that, my hype for CeVIO has really cooled off. Meanwhile, Crypton is just struggling to get anything done on time with Piapro and Miku NT, pandemic aside lol.

If I can be honest, I’m sympathetic toward Crypton, because they’ve done so good in the past and truly care about their characters and products. I don’t have the same sympathy toward CeVIO at this point, horrible though that might sound, so I’m just kinda watching from the sidelines, hugging Minato and Yuudai and Airi to my chest. It’s such a mess. :clara_ani_lili:

Oh, Crypton definitely do want to make sure Piapro and Miku NT come out great right out of the gate. They're literally sitting on Miku's reputation right now. It's just annoying when they announce projected dates but they don't meet them because they're struggling with something. I think despite the success of their Vocaloids, they're still a small company, which might be a huge part of the problem?

Yeah. I can imagine it’s probably difficult to push software out on time with a small team and in such an odd global situation on top of it.
Ngl, I was losing faith in CFM a little bit, but hearing the NT (speaking) voices in Project Sekai restored my faith as I’m overall pleased with what I hear. The only thing I don’t like about NT is that they all have this odd, froggy sounding engine noise. I’m sure that’ll be fixed in due time, though.
I won’t be commenting on CeVio since I don’t follow it closely enough to really hold an opinion outside the fact the engine noise is… there. Honestly, I’m willing to give CeVio and NT the benefit of the doubt because I was extremely doubtful of the old SynthV, but find myself extremely impressed with the capabilities of SynthV Studio. My only criticism is still that we’re in need of more voicebanks in Japanese and English (and some new languages would be neat, too).
