That's 99% a port of her voiceroid recordings I wonder if they will ever release it or if it is just a test to see what she would sound like to decide if they would like to a do a new full recording.
Quadimension's ai plus banks aren't trained on the tuned renders of the synth v voice banks, rather they are trained on the recorded samples that make up the voice bank. Thinking about it as encoding the voice bank in ai rather than standard synthesis. I hope that makes sense. To my knowledge...
In the v4 dev kit there's stock growl samples. Internet co v4 updates all use these stock samples. Apparently it is really hard to record so most banks use the stock samples. This has been confirmed by Dex and Daina's voice providers.
I don't know if it's just me. But as a mainly English vocaloid fan, but it's a absolute shame that they've discontinued v2. There's nothing on a technical level that keeps v2s out of v5 and v6. People have been put v2s into v5 and they usually are the ones that improve the most. Even in Japanese...
I don't know if it's on vsinger though. I remember when Ruby and Dex and Diana where in development it took a good year from them being finished to them being approved by Yamaha and them saying Yamaha was radio silence for months. So I could imagine vsinger is in a similar situation
That makes sense with one of them already on ace I imagine it's only a matter of time. Especially with how they just got v5s when v6 came out I imagine it's frustrating for a company
I don't know I remember looking at sales rankings a couple years ago on jp Amazon and I remember seeing his original cevio was around 20th and Miku not was lower. So people are buying just him
Also by the way we have samples of actual English ace. It sounds good a little accented like synth v but very useable especially for being still in development. The sample was shown off in the discord
Honestly Polaris feels like a kda rip off more than Miku. I been in this community for a while now and and seen these virtual singers pop up here and there and they always fall flat and very generic.
I don't want to pile on synth v especially now but I've been feeling this for a while now. I don't know if this is just me but I've been wishing they would improve synth V's cross lingual support don't get me wrong but I appreciate and amazed it exists. But it's gotten to be such a mixed bag...
