Miku AI in the (short-term) future!!
But seriously, it's cool that Crypton are committed to ongoing support for their V4 banks, and they're still trying to improve NT. In the further future, I'd love to see V6/7 releases for other Cryptonloids.
With the ID requirement, I can see the appeal of Vocoflex being limited to experimental projects by professionals. (I.e. voice acting and singing by independents or small companies).
I have shiny Zubat and Golbat in Shining Pearl - for some reason, the RNG was really good in that game for me, so I managed to catch two shinies from the same evolutionary line. My boyfriend was mad I didn't try to evolve them into shiny Crobats though lol.
Listening to the bridge myself as an English speaker, I agree it doesn't sound like V4. Both V3 and V4 Miku English have unique quirks which make me quickly realise it's the English Vocaloid versions, but that song didn't have them. Either Deco is really good at using V4, or he used a version of...
I'm half-expecting an annoucement of an NT V2 (with hopefully the other Cryptonloids) come August. The current version of NT has been consistently stuck in a beta-like state, rather than felt like a finished professional product, and Crypton has been silent on new, huge updates on NT for ages...
I like her voice a lot, but you're right in that her voice type has already been done on SynthV (and on other engines for that matter).
The German lyrics in that demo are giving me LIFE tho.
V3 Oliver was quiet as a VB as well, but I couldn't understand the lyrics in the demo either. I'm hoping this is just an issue with his beta bank or a quirk with the tuning in the demo.
I already have Mirai DX on 3DS, but modern ports of the Mirai games would be cool! It would also take out the secondhand market for the 3DS Mirai games, because they're going obscene now.
Looking back, I'm surprised a SynthV port was even attempted, considering how much it focuses on realism. I think even a V6 port could have kept the unrealistic tone of Kafu CeVIO without sounding too close to the real Kaf.
Ohhh, the coloured border around the screen makes the setup look so much better! I'm still annoyed at the lack of transparency from the organisers (there's STILL no statement after how many days?), but it's good to see they're improving the new setup while touring.
That's the main thing bothering about the LED setup - it looks like they had to switch from a projector to the LED screen at the last minute, and they also couldn't adjust the set design to accommodate it properly in time.
I was gonna a drop my own post about the Miku Expo complaints since I've been seeing them on Facebook and Instagram, but I've been busy this weekend. On the one hand, I totally get the complaints from the fans, because there have been no announcements whatsoever about the change from a projector...
