Fingers crossed IA V6 English via cross-lang will sound much more accurate, smoother and understandable compared to IA CeVIO. I've heard some good songs with IA CeVIO English, but CeVIO's engine noise was always present and it could still get grating sometimes.
It's also nice to think that at...
I kinda agree, and I also want to add to this by saying I honestly think Miku Solid sings English better sometimes than the actual Miku English VBs. Mainly because Miku Solid has this (good) quirk where it enunciates every consonant, so you can approximate English phonemes better with Solid than...
I've seen a few complaints from native Spanish speakers that the Spanish opera vocal is hard to understand. Presumably, the VBs are still in beta for the time being, so hopefully the Spanish language data will be improved before release.
Ninezero has a brother, and Prima's back! /joking
But seriously, I'm glad Eclipsed Sounds are taking risks by creating more genre specific VBs for SynthV. Screamo VBs for commercial vocal synths have been begged by the fandom since the V2 days, when producers figured out how to get the...
It's also making me wonder if they're developing for SynthV 2, since it's been speculated French (and Korean) support could be locked behind a new engine.
Didn't take long for one of my predictions this year to come true lol.
But seriously, I'll stand by the opinion that if they really wanted to port Kafu, she should have have been ported to V6. I guess at this point, she's more likely to be upgraded to VoiSona.
Cantai's setup and intention reminds me of a vocal synth/VST plugin called Symphonic Choirs that was released back in the 2000s, but SC is really expensive and to this day you need a beefy computer setup to run it properly. The output is high quality though.
Still can't stomach Fortnite as an old lady, but I am enjoying reading salty comments from Fortnite fans on Instagram who surprisingly have zero clue about Miku at this point. (Aren't Gen Z and Alpha supposed to be tethered to the internet all the time?)
I'm also surprised how cute the Miku...
I only made one prediction in 2024, which was this:
Well, turned out I was half-right - Miku V6 will be a thing, but Crypton are updating NT to version 2, intending to keep the two softwares as complimentary banks. I'm still not impressed with NT's quality though lol.
I'm still dreadful at...
I'm struggling to think what new features could be added to SynthV 2, considering that the current version of SynthV has been constantly improved since release (and some obvious missing features like growl could be added to OG SynthV. Even the current version had languages like Spanish added to...
I still have my OG copies of Pearl and Platinum - I sunk so many hours into Pearl back in the day just exploring, filling up the National Pokedex and taking part in contests! The remakes were actually a bit disappointing to me, because not many quality of life features and really good bonuses...
That explains why some people on Instagram were spreading rumours and pestering Crypton about it on the official Miku account recently. I personally find Fortnite extremely cringe, and we all know a collab would trigger yet another wave of newbie Gen Alpha kids crashing headfirst into the fandom...
Licensing restrictions aren't uncommon when it comes to merch, including albums. Japanese IPs tend to be hit pretty hard by this - for example, on some pop culture websites like Hot Topic, sometimes you'll run into disclaimers saying that a certain item can't be shipped outside the US due to...
Gemvox in general feels like some kind of AI generated joke - like, the company doesn't actually exist and the whole thing is some really late April Fools prank. It would certainly explain how lifeless and half-hearted the demos and promo tactics are.
Why am I not surprised that Studio Gonzo is trying to come back through some NFT scheme? (Also, I honestly thought Gonzo had closed down years ago lol.)
I'm sorry, but this project is turning me off the more info comes to light. If Topaz does get Korean support, then hell yeah, but Topaz as a...
I'm down for Korean support in SynthV, but I'm sorry, did they pinch the character art from DeviantART? I'm hoping it's some kind of mockup or beta art now, because this project is not looking hopeful so far lol.
