I don't understand why Anon and Kanon isn't more popular. From some of the songs I've heard, especially Kanon sounds very, very good and very human. Anyway, I plan to get them.
I'm very disappointed that they dropped the VST version. I use to work on the music while editing vocals (I only use vocaloid/Vsynth for originals). So I have to keep using Piapro. I might still get Vsynth though, I hope the VST comes in a later update.
Has anyone had problems with Windows Defender detecting the "Syntheziser V editor.exe" as a trojan and removing it? I suspect it could be a false positive, but I downloaded a new version and it seems ok, so far.
Please all of you - use ear protection at concerts. It's no joke.
Some of my friends have tinnitus from going to many rock concerts when they were younger.
And unfortunately you can't import .vpr files from VO 5 into Piapro Studio. So, correct me if I'm, wrong, but there seems to be no way to convert a vocaloid 5 file to midi. If Yamaha wants to Vocaloid to be "pro" software there should be an option to export in midi. It's a big problem if you...
It's interesting that the database for Eleanor is only about 100 mb, compared to several Gb for an English Vocaloid. I don't know how the programming works, but maybe it means that we could have even better voicebanks, with more phonetic variance in the future, without filling up our harddrives...
Older rock: Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and 'prog-rock' like Yes
Jazz/Fusion: Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, Allan Holdsworth, some Frank Zappa
.. and also very much: Bjork
And these days I listen a lot to Jpop like in Anime openings, and the sountracks (OST) - and of course vocaloid stuff...
About your first question: I just tested, and I can drag and drop a wave file into the stand-alone editor in windows - at least when I've already created an audio track.
And about the GUI - yes, you need a very large monitor (or maybe better with two monitors) with a high resolution to work...
Hi
I had the same problem with Studio One 3 Pro (a great DAW by the way!). I was guided here on the forum (thank you) , to the correct dll-file:
C: Program Files > Common Files > VST2 > VOCALOID5 VSTi.dll
Point your vst-path to this and it works!
Thank you PigeonP
Yes, I know you can do it on each note individually, like you show here, and of course this is better - if you have the time - than the automatic way that Piapro does it.
But I like the way that Piapro can put vibrato on all notes longer than for example 1 quater.note. This...
Just to clarify: When using VO 5 voices there are vibrato and other things on the default voice (I just realised that). But - when I use a VO 4 voice like Miku V4 or VY1V4 it has no vibrato at all when you put it in. So that's why I wanted to use Piapro for that.
I have the small VO 5 version...
I've nearly only used Piaopro Studio until now. In Piapro there is a setting for automatic vibrato for long notes, and a couple of other settings for all notes. I've always used this.
Now, when I use vocaloid 5, there is no vibrato unless i put it in manually (a far as I can tell - that's true...
