Audiologie previously teased an update to the original Anri, I assume this is what they were referencing (designed to go alongside Arcane rather than a straight update for it?). Within the lore they refer to her as 'Anri from another dimension'. Although it's framed as a tour, I assume that's just AO's kayfabe.

Bundled alongside her is a voicebank for Andi, previously just a config, now with his own database. You can also buy him separately.

(Anri's guinea pig Chachamaru is her producer in this parallel universe. Can the vocal synth community survive a humanised anime boy Chachamaru design release? Time will tell...)

wait, another Anri bank? so like, we have 4 now? original sv1 AI, Arcane, Arcane RDX, and now sv2 (Requiem)? i like Anri and all, but man all these seperate banks always felt like an odd set up. i did not find much difference between Arcane and RDX other than more vocal modes in a huge abundance of vocal modes that eventually all sounded too samey.

while i guess we only have one demo of her sv2 (i assume that song they posted is sv2). i cant say i heard much difference here either (and doesnt Arcane RDX also have a sv2 update with it...? idk a t this point it so much lol). it would be nice if theyd release a "demo" without all those vocal effects, they do often go for electronic/auto tune-y sounds on their genre choices so it admittedly doesnt give a great idea...

regardless, pretty neat theyre doing a tour. vocal synth tours are quite rare.

The one thing i find interesting is that the way they said it, only original ANRI owners will get a discount to the new original ANRI. I do own her, but that would suck for people who didn't buy her when she just came out and only got Arcane

like lili said, im almost certain it's not an actual tour and just the setup for the "backstory" of anri/andi for this voicebank release. i was fooled at first, but then was like, there is NO way that we're getting an anri world tour before like, teto expo or something.
i really can't imagine how this anri vb is gonna work - will it just use her old data? but the whole thing about that was that the data was pretty low quality, and isn't the whole point of smth like (1 million) vocal modes so you can realistically still recreate her og tone? i am just sooo confused... unless they're gonna be a cheaper kagamine style bundle, i don't know what benefits there could be to buying what i can only imagine to be "the same anri voicebank, but lower quality/slightly different"

of course im not doubting this either but man wheres the clear disclaimers...? xD i highly doubted the idea of that being legit too but. its a weird way to promote the character through what would essentially be a fake concernt announcement, with no upfront fictional aspect to the promotion

this is something i was wondering too. since Andi was just a masculine edit of Anri's voice. if its the sameVA i would want to hope theyre capable of giving strong enough data to warrant and entirely new voicebank to purchase, something that sounds significantly different than just a vocal edit of Anri.

They say that Andi has his own VP now and that the new Anri is going to be made from new recordings.
But I still don't get the point of Anri Requiem when Anri Arcane was already a remake of Anri and has the modes to replicate her tone. People say these vocal modes just aren't the same, but Anri Requiem is not going to be the same either when it's new data.
Also the rock marketing here confuses me because Anri1 was a lo-fi hip hop voicebank. You use Anri Arcane if you want to use her for rock music. It only makes sense for Andi because he's the third member of Heart's Reprieve.
