They better fix Luka's Super Pack voicebank sounding like a repackaged Miku.

Hopefully they will fix it, although I highly doubt that CFM is willing to put in the effort to fix all SP voicebanks (honorable mention: Luka SP and Meiko SP) since it’s a 'buy one pack get all characters' type of deal. Even fixing the Miku NT voicebank takes such a long journey (for more than five years) just to reach a minimally satisfactory quality compared to her other Vocaloid voicebanks.

I was worried about Luka SP too, but after using her quite a bit, I find that she's easier to use than V4. Even have a good success with her, though she still need to be handle with some experience.

The problem i see is that people simply throw project file with little to no edit and hope for the best, which is work quite well for most VBs on the market but not the Luka.

Luka is very high maintenance in some ways, i agree. Don't just leave the file untuned (this includes forgetting to change parameters such as gender, breathiness, brightness, dynamics, etc.), actually tune it.

I can't say it's bad or anything, it's more like a sidegrade than directly upgrade, though i think the sound character is subjective, some people may like it, tho most people don't and that's understandable, but this is what we got at the moment so.. i take what i can and i will find my way to make her work just like the first time that i work with luka v4 a decade ago.

All i wanted is very simple, just Quality of Life improvement, i never asked for AI, just make it easy to use, like Miku.
