Just a little poll for fun, so out of all Miku Expo visuals, which do you like the most?

*Note that the very first Expos didn't always have designated main & sub visuals. In that case I have referred to the Miku Expo website's list of past events in determining which is the main visual.

My #1 choice is the 2019 Taiwan & Hong Kong visual, I think it's by far the best of all Expo visuals. The artstyle fits perfectly to my taste, Miku looks very cute and her costume has been influenced by local clothing of Taiwan and Hong Kong, while still being distinctly a "Miku costume". Second favourite is hard to pick, it's a tie between 2020 Europe and 2014 LA&NY. I also like the design on the 2015 Shanghai visual (the background looks so cool), but I prefer art instead of CG on an event visual.

My least favourite is 2018 Europe design. I feel like it tries a little bit to imitate an european cartoon style, I wish they had had an honest contemporary Japanese moe-ish anime style usually present in official Miku artwork. Even though 2018 was Miku's first Europe tour, and therefore important to me, I was so salty about the art that I didn't buy any merch with that artwork lol (no disrespect to the artist).

I really like 2020 NA miku expo and 2016 JP miku expo the same ugh. 2020 NA miku expo looks like it'd make a good poster though

2014 LA and NY is my favorite, it's so energetic and bright.
Runner ups in my eyes are 2020 Europe, 2014 Indonesian, and the 2016 JPN and NA.

I picked 2015 Shanghai as my favorite. There's something so cool about the clarity and depth of it--between the background and the 3D image of Miku, it's kind of like you're looking at a diorama that's been created inside a ruby.

Runners-up are hard to pick. I think my next favorite is 2016 Japan, for its overall energy and the interest in its background. Next I would say is 2014 Indonesia.

I really want to give a nod to 2019 Taiwan & Hong Kong for all the reasons you mentioned--I just wish she wasn't quite as subdued. My reservations about some of the others are similar, but in the opposite direction--I feel they make her look too edgy/belligerent.
