I remember @peaches2217 mentioning having issues moving Vocaloids to an external HD a long while back. I currently have Synth V Studio Pro installed on my local HD, and I'm thinking about moving it to an external drive to save space (despite how little space it takes up). I.e., uninstalling it from my local HD and running the installer again from my external drive, I guess.
I'm wondering if it's even necessary, though. Once installed, I'd expect most plugins to be independent of their installers...although Vocaloid is an exception somehow.
Has anyone moved Synth V from an internal to an external drive? How did you do it? Or can you just delete the installer (hopefully after backing it up for archival purposes)?
Thanks!
