Mid-September check: Magical Mirai 2026 goods are on the flea market, and Birthday 2026 Star Dreamy has halved
Follow-up to my Star Dreamy note from the end of August, since a few people asked what happens to these prices once the event rush is over. Everything below was read off live Mercari listings this morning (17 Sep, JST), sealed/unused unless stated.
Magical Mirai 2026 goods, already listed by attendees
- 缶バッジ (tin badges) — a pair of Miku badges ¥800, the seller says they were pulled this year's live for a different design; the Miku "secret" badge on its own ¥1,333
- Clear poster, Miku ¥333
- Capsule toy, B prize ¥500
- Exhibition entry bonus (企画展入場特典 invitation-style envelope + score card set) ¥300
- Sparkly wristband ¥2,222
- Penlight ¥2,900, used once at the show per the listing, battery removed for shipping
So the paper/badge tier is ¥300–¥1,333 and only the light-up stuff holds a real price. The usual pattern: badge "secrets" carry a premium for about a month, then settle.
Birthday 2026 AMP+ Star Dreamy — the drop
On 28 Aug boxed singles sat at ¥2,599–¥3,099. Today the cheapest sealed listing is ¥1,444 and the next one is ¥1,600. That is the normal prize-figure curve — the arcade run keeps going for weeks after the launch and the market fills up — but it is worth knowing if you were about to pay a reseller three times that.

Practical bit
All of these are domestic-only Mercari sellers, so outside Japan it is a proxy job. The event goods are flat and light, so they are the cheapest possible thing to ship — bundle them under one consolidated parcel and the badge that cost ¥333 stays a ¥333 badge. A boxed 21 cm prize figure is where volumetric weight bites, so put the Star Dreamy in the same box rather than shipping it alone. Search in Japanese (マジカルミライ 2026, 初音ミク Birthday 2026); the romaji spellings return a fraction of the stock. The exhibition bonus was different for the 3 venues (Hamamatsu, Osaka, Tokyo), but the day bonus was same (except for the wrist strap that is used for the re-entry), also some goods were re-stocked on the next days of the exhibition ^-^
