soooo yesterday i was thinking about the classic dilemma of Chika Sounds Just Like Gumi and decided to play around with chika's parameters (most notably upping her gender) a bit in attempt to make her voice a bit more distinct from gumi's! here's my first try:
any thoughts or suggestions on how i could improve it?
so a while ago i posted on the utau fandom wiki discussion thread asking if i. ok yknow what here lemme copy/paste my question here
"Hello, as a huge vocalsynth fan who often browses wiki pages, i sometimes get frustrated when i see one that i want to try, but it has no voice sample on its page. i end up having to search for a usage on another site, and it's a bit of an inconvenience. so i thought i'd try to make/upload some myself if i can! i made a sample for yamine renri v 1.5 just as a starting point, having her sing the typical "do re mi fa so la ti do".
So, would i be allowed to upload some voice sample contributions to the wiki? :Oc"
it's been a week with no response so i figured i'd ask here too! it's not the same as asking the actual wiki itself, but i'm not very used to being this involved with wikis and someone here might know more than i do about contributing. im mainly just not sure if basically just anyone with a good/fitting sample can contribute or if it needs a more "official" source. thoughts?
i remember giving utaforum a try a few months ago but after a few minutes of browsing i saw someone call ritsu the t slur and then saw someone call miko ooka (canon age 3.5, just a reminder) their "waifu" and i was like okaaay thats enough for today!! lmao
sadly i couldn't make anything new in celebration of my favorite vocaloid's birthday because this god forsaken heat wave is KILLING MEEEEEEE >:( but here's my bacterial contamination cover if yall wanna check it out!!
maaaan i really gotta do another utau project sometime, i miss those silly lil 'loids! i especially have yuutsukoe karasu in mind, but also there's a world is mine cover i was doing with matsudappoiyo as tuning/pitch bending practice... hmm. much to think about
As mentioned a few weeks ago and presented to users for feedback and polling, we have now gone and completed the permission changes for the journals section's visibility when logged out and default privacy settings for statuses upon account creation.
