WHY THE LIPS 😭 I can see it though, it does kinda look like she's mirroring Monika's pose... just missing the pen that will write the way into his heart /ducks tomatoes (Funnily enough I was just thinking of doing an SV Iroha cover of the song since my favorite Youtuber is playing the game)

I was a little surprised at first that Frimomen got full MVs and Teto got static lyric videos... though they did the same thing for her SV1 (just checked), so I guess it was just a choice on Twindrill's part? Guess it does make sense since she was already so popular from UTAU that they're more focused on showing off the vocal rather than the character overall.

I love all of the new vocal modes ahhh Mini sounds like it's going to be super fun to play with especially, and I really like Silkymen too

My opinions on Teto's new vocal modes from the demos!

Rock: The strength we needed from Power. It sounds really good, and will 100% be a godsend to the rock artists who want to get in on the Teto trend. She sounds like she's yelling into the mic sometimes, which is good!

Low: The other end of the spectrum. She sounds soft, and a little sad. Maybe similar to a whisper voice, which is good! It sounds best for sad ballads and maybe songs similar to Patchwork Staccato. It sounds good, but I get the feeling I won't be using this much, as I don't particularly care for whisper-type voices, and if I do need one, I'll just use Meiko V3.

Mini: Very cutesy, and surprisingly similar to UTAU Teto. Upbeat and joyful, though not exactly my cup of tea. Not much to say here, just a cutesy and similar to UTAU voice.

These more involved demos showing a bit of how to use the software and isolated vocal modes are much better than Dreamtonics' SV1 demos. They look like they'd be especially useful for new users.

Unfortunately I'm not all that impressed by Danny and Etta - they both have fuzzy, over-saturated artificial noise muddying their samples, particularly in their stronger modes. Their pronunciation is also strange and mumble-y, with word stresses feeling slightly off and an overall 'cotton-wool balls in mouth' quality to their enunciation. They sound a lot less natural than previous voices on the engine, which is surprising given realism is SynthV 2's stated goal.

what do you mean by "snap to scale" feature?
Snap-to-scale is a feature that prevents users from entering notes outside of a selected scale. For example, if you were to choose C Major, snap-to-scale would only permit you to enter notes that are found in C Major. All other notes would be disallowed.

Of course, such a feature is only useful for those that stay strictly within a single scale. If you use chromatic notes, key modulations, or even swap between different types of scales (such as whole tone scale to double harmonic scale), then such a feature is annoying/useless.

Not really. In Reaper I use snap to scale to quickly create harmonies. I take the lead melody, turn on snap, and drag it down by about a fifth and that creates a harmony line. Of course, if I have chromatic notes or borrowed keys, it won't be perfect... so I just correct the incorrect notes.
