imo unless youre dying to see her happen and want to support her a lot its not really worth it, if youre there for the novelty of it tho the boxed version would be a decent investment

yeah thats how im feling. the simple brain 'buy the thing and feel good' always sits at the back of my mind i see any possibility to purchase a voice synth lmao. but the rational thinking knows i dont buy voice synths much and that there isnt much of a plus to buying the digital one like that at all. the physical box is definitely a fun choice and not bad but yeah, im not in it for that

I feel you, I really want Solaris too but that price seems too high for me at the moment. I love her voice providers voice and been waiting for an English bank like her but 125$ is a lot to ask for something you don't exactly know it sounds, and when you compare it to 95$ for maki ai. Sad they aren't making a lite version.

yeah i imagine itll definitely be lower when released, its just the campaign price, but even so im still on the fence about buying her... really wish trial versions were more normalized even, not just lite. im interested to see how she comes out in the end but very uncertain about a full purchase depending on the price...

Yes I do wish there were a free trial for synthv and cevio ai. I do think lite banks help with piracy tho.

I get why it's so expensive - it has to pay for the development fund, and it's a better deal than like... Tsuina-chan's Synth V campaign where the cheapest tier just to get her at all was $300. I think, keeping everything in mind, they've done the best they could to make the tiers affordable while also realistically helping them fund the project to begin with, but I fully understand why people are hesitant about it. (I'm in the same boat, I'm not in love with the standard voice that was presented to us but I'm glad to have heard anything at all... but without knowing what the final product will be like I'm not really rushing to spend my money on it sdoifjdsf)

I'm glad we have maki ai to even hear what ai English sounds like. But wonder if we are going to have the same difference between ai and standard. I'm glad we are able to hear her voice provider it'll probably be a closer representation than her standard bank.
