Americans should thank their lucky stars Christmas seems to arrive by Black Friday - in Britain, the Christmas ads are already running before Remembrance Day (November 11th), and in more recent years, before Halloween!

I'm one of those heathens that starts celebrating as soon as Halloween is over. 
At least I wait until Black Friday to openly celebrate it though! I ain't waiting a day later. Christmas ads and inventory do start popping up before Halloween a lot of places (I know our Hobby Lobby starts putting out trees in late July), so I get the frustration, but dammit one day after Thanksgiving shouldn't be off the table!

i put up my halloween decor in august and my christmas decor halfway through october. (sometimes i have both xmas and halloween decor up at once)
my argument is that its so much work to fish the decorations out of storage and hang them up, id like them to be up for more than a month to make it worth the effort lol.
