Wait, it's not pronounced like that? I have been pronouncing it like that for years because I thought it was meant to rhyme.

I can't seem to find any info about it other then this theory from her vocaloid wiki article that says "Rion's name is believed to be a double pun on the English word Tone and the musical instrument Tenori-on produced by YAMAHA. ". So perhaps we are both wrong
