I could technically publish a build but I'm right now trying to figure out a way to make betterloid compatible with both vocaloid 5 and 6 rather than dropping vocaloid 5 support.
Both share a lot of code but since vocaloid 5 uses dotnet framework and vocaloid 6 uses dotnet 6 there's some...
Ngl what's exciting to me is that :
- miku comes on V6
- Yamaha said all V6 banks will come to vocaloid beta and all V6 owners will get vocaloid beta
- So Miku will also come to Vocaloid Beta which might be even more exciting than her coming to Vocaloid 6
Ngl, That's kind of a downgrade because Cubase LE is way more limited than Studio One 5/6 Artist.
Studio One 5/6 Artist was a full daw basically. Unlimited third party VSTs, unlimited tracks...
Cubase LE is very limited.
This is a song I composed a while ago but I never really published the final versions before now.
It was mostly an experiment as I never composed trance songs before.
I hope you'll like it !
Ngl, I feel like crypton single handedly killed their reputation with NT. Not from miku fans etc obviously but from producers.
NT has been not just a failure but just one of the worst releases in the vocaloid history.
I almost expect crypton to either come back to vocaloid, either move to synthv...
usually in music production, multi for a vst refers to a vst allowing multiple midi inputs in different channels for multiple instruments in the same instance
so when they say multi, i think they mean that you can use only one instance of the vst and use multiple voices with multiple midi...
the thing is the form to create a yamaha id requires to enter our location, and only japanese locations are allowed in the form
they however said on twitter they consider giving a way for foreigners to register
the lyrics are actually directly entered in cubase's piano roll from what I've seen.
It's possible because the VST3 standard does support lyrics (but no other daw usually made use of the feature, but since steinberg is owned by yamaha, and cubase is made by steinberg...)
like, here i got cubase...
to me more than the audio quality, the insane thing is the new VST.
Typing the lyrics and all directly from inside cubase??? like, that's amazing for a producer.
the current workflow of the vocaloid vst is really annoying because it requires to switch back and forth between the vocaloid editor...
Vocaloid 6 released not even a year ago, if they don't bring the improvements from b-studio in v6, they REALLY would screw over their loyal customers who kept paying the higher fee for an inferior software to the competition
