lol, they’ve increased the accommodation plan prices by a significant amount over last year. Definitely opting for the lottery route entirely this year especially since SS and S rank seats are now merged into one big section, increasing the odds of winning.

Is it that much more (for the hotels)? Osaka is for sure, but that is probably due to the World fair there. Also no hotel closeby to the venue (Quintesses hotel), because of that too I assume. But Tokyo seems fairly reasonable.
I honestly expect that accomodation plan still would have tickets close to the stage, even with no SS and S anymore...

If only there was a foreign lottery with results announced BEFORE the accomodation plan starts... since that is not the case, I will still go for it, just by far the safest option...

Yeah, I mean it’s always been a known fact that the accommodation plan is overpriced compared to booking on your own, since it lets you skip the lottery for guaranteed tickets, but this year it’s especially bad (even if you take inflation into account). For comparison, last year Tokyo plan B, D, F for the fri, sat and sun night concerts at Makuhari Springs would’ve costed you 75K yen for the 3 night stay in a single bedroom (not including the 3 SS tickets price). This year it’s now a total of 83,500 yen for 3 nights!
Last year I also stayed at APA Makuhari, a fairly nice hotel which I individually booked since I went with the lottery, and it costed me 13,250 yen per night for a spacious TWIN bedroom (2 beds), and was literally across the road from Makuhari messe with a connecting, covered bridge that leads straight into the Messe hall. Compare this to last year’s CHEAPEST accommodation plan that offered single bedrooms: Family Inn, which is a tiny room at a budget hotel 25 mins away by bus for 19K yen. And if you want the closest hotel with single bedrooms (which is still a 10 minute walk away), you can be paying as much as 30,500 yen for a single night (Hotel springs Makuhari plan D, Saturday night concert)
HATSUNE MIKU MAGICAL MIRAI 2024 in TOKYO
You can see how just how inflated the prices are compared to booking on your own and going with lottery, but if you have the money for it and absolutely want a guaranteed ticket then by all means go for it.
Personally I don’t think it’s worth it this year with the increased prices + the fact that SS seats are now merged with S seats.

Since international lottery is next week, I got a quick question. I'm still new to the whole lottery system. I might not be able to go to the sale as soon as it opens and I'll be an hour or two late. Will this decrease my chances. Is it better to apply as soon as the site opens? I just want to be sure I can get a ticket for Osaka.

about the lottery, the chances are the same, is totally random ^-^ only the accomodation plan is "apply as soon as possible" (usually it gets mostly sold-out in the first 30 minutes). So you can apply to the lottery whenever you want, as long as it's during the application period: April 18th-May 12th (first lottery), May 16th-June 2nd (second lottery) :meiko_lili:

First time post! Just hoping for some advice please.. I'm planning on going to Mirai this year with the accommodation package but I'm a bit worried having read that they sell out fast and there are normally server issues? I was planning on applying for a Tokyo evening show but knowing that the AP's for Tokyo are the last to go live is it potentially a huge risk? Part of me thinks I should just attempt for Osaka and if I have no luck in 30 mins I could then try Tokyo, whereas if I wait for Tokyo I could just end up with nothing?

Just not sure how bad the systems are as first time applying! Perhaps they won't be as bad as the applications are spread out over 30 mins?

Any advice is appreciated!

welcome welcome here ^u^
yes correct, since the applications are spread out over 30 minutes, there shouldn't be server issues. I recommend to use Firefox, no other tabs open and use a PC, not on mobile. Also, keep on a .txt file some of your details (email, address, passport, card payment number, etc..) so it's easier to fill the various forms. Have also a "plan B" if your hotel or day is sold out, think in advance of another hotel and day.
As I wrote earlier, usually the most chosen one is Tokyo last day evening, so if you plan to attend that, yes try that first. The day concerts are a little easier (because more people choose first the evening concerts), and you can actually enjoy the concert more with the day show, since there are more students, families and couples attending that.
And yes, that's a very good idea to try Osaka first! Then, if you don't know where to stay for cheap between your days of Osaka-Tokyo,then you could think of choosing for example a guest house or apartment stay at Sakura House, it's much cheaper compared to hotel stay, I've used Sakura House Tokyo many many times, always excellent! :gumi_lili:
SAKURA HOUSE® - Furnished Guest houses, Apartments, Share houses for rent in Tokyo, Izu and Kyoto since 1992.
(apartment you have your own room, while guest house usually you have room+shared kitchen and shared bathroom. Then you have the laundry, usually coin laundry in a shared space, and the fact you can have a kitchen save a lot in terms of money, and is so nice to actually go to japanese supermarket to buy foods to cook. Each room has wifi and all bills electricity-water already paid, you also have your own address, so you can order both food delivery and package delivery, for example from Amazon JP, it's so nice experience. On the website you can see the monthly prices, but you can stay 2-3 weeks)

About the theme of this year, I'm pretty sure they chose that particular theme because it relates to alot of old songs (for example SPiCa, Stargazer, Fragments of a Star, Starduster) ^-^
if those songs came up I would be crying and hehe. And if I saw SPiCa and Stargazer play Infront of me I would make sure the 'river' in 'starry river in the sky' come to life xD
I think this years mirai might have the best setlists for me imao hehe
I should've found out about Miku and mm sooner lol °u^

I found out that on Monday (accommodation tickets period starting), I have no school, which is relieving. But then I realised I'd be in an airport or airplane when they start... -_-'
Seems like I can't check out accommodation plan for this year lol. =_=

Im gonna ask my parents if I go to next year maybe BC I can't physically and mentally wait to see how mm 25 goes out. If not I'd defo go mm 28. ^~^
Good luck for those applying for tickets, and have a nice day to everyone!! x :miku_ani_lili:

So... the accomodation plan tour organiser website (Entame KNT)...
Senda is supposed to open from 17:00 JST. It is 14 past that, but clicking on "apply now", nothing happens.

I don't actually wanna apply for Sendai, but for Osaka and Tokyo, which is coming up in a few minutes. But I am worried it does not seem to work for Sendai at least, so...

EDIT: Nevermind, some extension blocked it for me. In incognito mode it works. Ok then ... never was an issue before xd

Well, all of Plan F for Tokyo sold out quickly.

I realized afterwards I clicked on the wrong plan. In a panic, I clicked on a twin room. Just wasting my time when I came to the realization. It was super easy last year. I think Miku Expo inspired many people to go to Mirai. Hence the difficulty for tickets right now. Heck, Blooming I managed to get 1 ticket out 3 lotteries and an attempt at general sales.

Giving up saves me from stress. I will apply to the lottery and take whatever I can get (fingers cross, knock on wood..)

I was pretty successful, got all 6 plans I wanted (all nights for Osaka and Tokyo), but the second Tokyo night the hotel I wanted was sold out, so I had to chooce another one. Annoying.
The New Otani actually says "sold out" for any dates in August on Booking.com, I find that hard to believe. I would normally just book the night I am "missing" but I can't right now. Is there some other big event on? I find that very strange. Other hotels like the APA are available, so...

mm..I was curious about it for the New Otani, so I checked on their official website:
and basically, any bookings after May 30th are not available yet, it happens sometimes, so I think you might be able to reserve it in a few weeks ^-^

But booking.com does have SOME limited availability for it for some days in August. But maybe, later they add more.
I wanna conact the hotel per mail in ask, but I could not find an e-mail-address on their website.

probably Booking (and other websites) have some reserved rooms in advance, and also that Hotel is kind of official Disneyland hotel, so that might explain its limited availability (because most of Disneyland hotels have reserved rooms plans if you choose some tickets).
for the email, you can try this address that I found on their main website:
(it's an email address for all their hotels in Tokyo area)

Congratulations!
You can consider yourself lucky, past years, the servers were MUCH MUCH worse, the websites kept giving you loading errors and it was a huge huge pain. This time...it actually worked lol (last year also had some issues, but not nearly as bad as in the past).

I recently managed to score one of the accommodation packages for Magical Mirai this august and I had some questions that I hope some of you wouldnt mind shedding some light on. This might get rather long as I can be a bit anxious and have a need to be prepared so please bear with me :)
-first of all, is acquiring my ticket different now that I have the accommodation package? The email says to wait for more information from the final announcement and that it will be available at the venue itself rather than a 7-11. I suppose I will just have to wait until more information comes out, but if anyone has experience with this please fill me in.
-Exhibition hall and optimal arrival times: My assumption is that the exhibition hall opens prior to the concert , am I correct? Or is it a sort of all day thing? And also, merch! I want to purchase a bunch of merch. Is there a store in the exhibition hall or is it in the venue itself? And do they carry lightsticks? Or would I need to source those from somewhere else? Also how busy is the merch stand? And when would be the best time to arrive so that stuff doesn't sell out?
Besides merch reasons, when is the best time to line up for the actual event? I know doors open an hour prior but is there any reason to line up earlier than that? Or is an hour just fine enough?
-speaking of merchandise, I plan to buy quite a bit if I can. How best would I go about holding onto it? Is it something I would have to keep with me the whole time during the concert? I've heard that handing out bags isn't very common in Japan (that's just hearsay tho idk the validity) . Would I need to rush back to my hotel first to drop it off? Or do they not sell stuff that is that large that it becomes a worry?
-this would be my first time going to a magical mirai concert and as it stands currently im quite nervous about the whole ordeal. I'm going with a friend, both our tickets are coming from this same accommodation plan so I assume we would be placed together yes?
-Seating arrangements: I'm under the assumption that seats for this concert are actual seats on the venue floor. Like chairs and what not, but people choose to stand. That's all fine and good but I'm worried about finding my seat in the first place.
I'm fairly certain that seats are reserved with each ticket, so I'm working under the assumption that each seat will be numbered or something along those lines. Is that correct?
-If anyone can help quell my anxiety by answering some of these questions I would be greatly appreciative. And again, my apologies for spitting out an essay here. I just want to make sure that I don't mess anything up!
