Ahh that's good then! I expected it to have changed with the introduction of English libraries but wasn't sure if it had happened yet. Good to know~
Yeah I’ve noticed quite a few changes; like how 1/4th if the UI automatically sets to English (since I don’t have my locale set to JPN)!

It's in English for me too, with JP locale~ I think the rest should be translated in the next few updates. I'll check the latest update notes and see what they plan to work on next.

I installed CeVIO via the disc that came with ONE's Starter Pack, so I'm sure I need to update. Is that something it'll prompt for automatically or do I have to initiate it or download from the site? Hoping that'll do the English thing y'all mentioned.

Also I heard that activating CeVIO on another computer just automatically deactivates it on the old computer, is this true? Because my current PC is aging a bit but I don't have the funds to go out and buy the new one I want just yet, I'm already extremely wary of losing my Vocaloid activations in the future.

You'll need to download it from the site as far as I know. All I've found is you can see the list of installed VBs and such and see what current version you have installed. But when you run the install it'll say what version you have and what the update is.

For the activation, I think it does that? Or at least it works for the VBs. I've never done it myself so don't quote me on that.

It'll prompt you when there's a new version available, but if you think there might be one look here!

For activation, when you activate CeVIO on a different computer it will automatically deactivate on the old one, so you don't need to worry about codes running out or anything.

f602 will be the one I've been aware of since early 2016, glad to see it's still alive. I've been pretty out of the loop so I'd love to learn more.

Ahhh I love Sasara.

I actually completely forgot about the colour series until, like, last week. Were they received well?

Kinda? They're the cheapest ones and people really like Minato especially but also Airi and Kasumi. The other 3 weren't really received well though.

I can understand why the other 3 aren't received well though. Sorry but they sound really low quality (Which is really sad honestly, you would expect more from paid products)

Minato, Kasumi & Airi are great and way better quality wise though!!

It's true, that's why I haven't bought them myself! Yamato can be okay but Yuudai and Koharu are very soft and muffled. CeVIO reacts better to clear voices.

CeVIO 6.1 beta test has opened! Anyone who owns CeVIO can just update their editor using the link.

The changes are mostly to do with the talk engine as well as changing some general features (for example, you don't have to re-authenticate your license key if you use it more than 4 times now, you just have to wait 24 hours after each use to use it again). The key line comes from the song editor changelog, however:
・ソングエンジンを更新。再生待ち時間やメモリ使用量を改善。
※今後登場予定の英語ソングボイスにも対応。
・Updated Song Engine. Improved/reduced playback wait time and memory usage.
※Also applies to English Song Voice(s) that will be coming in the future.
We almost there!

Are any news on if they will allow you to use it without japanese locale? Since IA Englishs website says cevio is for japanese locale only (from what google translate told me) (Which I think is unwise but....)

There is already no more locale issue since CeVIO CS6, so you should be able to use it whatever your locale is. Although some UI texts are still in Japanese.

I also developed a locale patch for CeVIO (Codename: CeVIO.SFE.Nodoame) but CeVIO 6 with locale issue fixed just released several days before I finished that.

Oh okay?
But then why does IA Englishs page say you need japanese locale?
  1. They just reused the description from IA Talk & ONE, which wrote before CeVIO 6.
  2. They don't consider it can be run anywhere other than Japan since the UI is still in Japanese.
  3. They are 1stPlace rather than C official so they may not know the local issues clearly.
